I just returned from a quick two-night sailing onboard the beautiful Celebrity Ascent, which is the newest cruise ship in Celebrity Cruises' fleet. Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in the revolutionary, award-winning Edge Class for the cruise line.

Celebrity Ascent is the newest, most innovative ship to join the fleet of modern cruise ships from Celebrity Cruises. As the fourth ship in the revolutionary Edge Class series, Celebrity Ascent has so much to offer. With a vast array of accommodations available onboard, Celebrity Ascent is home to some of the most luxurious suites at sea.

I just spent 48 hours onboard the brand-new Celebrity Ascent, and I already can’t wait to plan another trip onboard this revolutionary and innovative cruise ship! Although 48 hours was not nearly enough time onboard, I was able to experience so much of what sets Celebrity Ascent apart from others.

Celebrity Ascent has arrived as the newest, highly-anticipated cruise ship for Celebrity Cruises. This award-winning vessel is the fourth ship in the cruise line’s revolutionary Edge Class. Although a sister ship to Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Ascent is the most innovative cruise ship ever built by Celebrity Cruises.

After sailing on Carnival, Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and Virgin Voyages, my friends and I finally booked a sailing on the Celebrity Summit for our annual getaway. After a recent summer stay in Boston, the Celebrity Summit is now calling Miami her home port. This was my first time on a Celebrity Cruise Line ship.

Those familiar with Royal Caribbean have probably heard of their sister brand, Celebrity Cruises. Rather than focusing on providing the ultimate family-friendly vacation, Celebrity strives to provide an upscale cruising experience to unique destinations across the globe. 

While Celebrity Cruises is not the largest cruise line in the world, they have 15 ships offering impressive itineraries around the world. Between late 2023 and 2025, they are set to expand their fleet size from 15 ships to 17 with the addition of two more Edge Class ships. 

Celebrity Cruises is getting closer to introducing its newest ship, the Celebrity Ascent to its fleet, this November. 

Today, June 13th 2023, Celebrity Cruises has unveiled for the first time details about its newest vessel. Some of these details include information about what guests can experience on board what Celebrity is calling its “newest resort at sea.”

Celebrity Cruises just announced their Spring into Summer Sale, which is good for most itineraries between May 3, 2023 and April 30, 2025.
