Carnival Cruise

I paid over $3,000 for a suite on a Carnival cruise. Unfortunately, it wasn't much better than a standard cabin

Because I cruise at least 9 or 10 times per year, I usually sail in standard cruise ship cabins. However, I splurged on a suite aboard my Caribbean cruise on Carnival Vista, paying nearly $3,600 for a 5-night cruise.

Carnival Cruise Line Refuses to Replace Popular Free Activity With Adult Only Sun Deck

Carnival Cruise Line responded to one guest asking if the family-friendly cruise line would get rid of a popular amenity to make way for another adult-only deck.

Cruise lines like Carnival appeal to a wide range of travelers, from couples to families with young children and elderly guests. As such, their ships are outfitted with various amenities designed to meet the needs of all passengers, including waterparks, mini-golf courses, arcades, spas, and adult-only sun decks.

How to link Carnival cruise reservations together

Carnival is a popular cruise line for family gatherings and large groups. As such, you might wonder how to link your reservations together for a seamless cruise experience.

While not required, linking Carnival cruise reservations can help make dining arrangements easier and let the cruise line know you're traveling with a large group.

Carnival Cruise Line's unexpected ban catches passengers off guard

Carnival Cruise Line recently left many passengers stunned with an unexpected ban on a common household item.

Like other cruise lines, Carnival has a long list of prohibited items that aren't allowed onboard their fleet, many of which are common sense. You wouldn't, for example, try to smuggle a dangerous weapon or explosives on your Caribbean cruise.

I'm a Royal Caribbean fan who cruised with Carnival for the first time. It didn't win me over, but a few of its perks blew me away

I took my first cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean ship over 15 years ago, so the family-friendly cruise line has been a favorite of mine for a long time.

Some of my best memories are from spending spring break on Oasis of the Seas with my family and cruising on Freedom of the Seas with my now-fiancée.

15 things I wish I knew before setting foot on a Carnival ship

Carnival Cruise Line is one of the leading cruise lines in the world.

With a fleet of more than 20 ships, Carnival caters to a diverse set of travelers, from families looking to spend quality time together to couples seeking a romantic getaway.  However, before stepping foot on a Carnival cruise, there are a few things to keep in mind, especially if you are used to sailing with other brands.

How to change your dining time on a Carnival cruise

When you book your Carnival cruise, you will choose your dinner time. What happens if you decide to change it before your cruise, though?

One of the best parts about a Carnival cruise is the unlimited food, from juicy burgers to fresh tacos and multi-course meals in the Main Dining Room.

I sailed on Carnival Conquest for the first time: 13 things I loved and hated

After previously cruising onboard Carnival Celebration and Carnival Vista, I was intrigued by a relatively cheap cruise onboard Carnival Conquest.

Carnival's Conquest Class ships aren't the newest or the flashiest. However, with five ships in the class, they remain a fan-favorite for their modest size and simplistic offerings.

I sailed with Carnival's premium and basic cruise lines. Both have their appeal, but I'll stick to one for future cruises

It's hard to explain what makes a vacation on the ocean stand out, but it's been my preferred way to travel since I was five.

There's something special about listening to the sound of the waves and looking at the infinite horizon. There's also something unique about sailing on a floating resort with activities and dining options under one roof.

I sailed on three old cruise ships built in the 1990s. Here's how they compared — and which wasn’t worth the money

Today's newest cruise ships are all the rage with ice skating rinks, rollercoasters, go-kart tracks, waterparks, and more. However, newer isn't always better. Last year, I sailed on three old cruise ships built in the 1990s for Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Disney, and my experiences couldn't have been more different.

For example, my cabin aboard Vision of the Seas felt like it was stuck in the 90s with outdated decor and a noticeable lack of outlets. In comparison, my interior stateroom on Disney Magic also had a nostalgic charm but greater attention to detail.
