Choosing the right cabin can make all the difference when planning your Celebrity cruise. 

For example, some cabins are more spacious than others, while certain staterooms are more centrally located. If you don't do your research, you may discover just how easy it is to end up with an undesirable cabin. 

One of Celebrity Cruises' oldest ships was reportedly left drifting off the coast of Italy after suffering a major power outage over the weekend. 

Celebrity Constellation was sailing past Italy on Saturday, Aug. 2, when the vessel lost power due to a "technical issue." 

Consequently, the ship was left without electricity or air conditioning for nearly three hours, USA TODAY reported. 

One of Celebrity Cruises’ newest ships, Celebrity Beyond, is currently experiencing technical issues, forcing the ship to sail at a reduced speed and delaying the current itinerary. 

Unfortunately for Celebrity Beyond’s passengers, the slowdown has already impacted the rest of the current cruise, and now it’s affecting the next sailing as well. As a result, Celebrity Beyond’s upcoming voyage will depart one day later than planned.

Within the past year, I've sailed on identical cruise ships in different cabin categories. Although there was a $2,000 price difference between the two, I found the staterooms had more in common than expected. 

My first experience aboard one of Celebrity Cruises' Solstice Class ships was on a 5-night sailing to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Cozumel, Mexico, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

With unlimited food included in the dining room and buffet, many cruisers steer clear of extra-cost specialty restaurants. However, they are one of my favorite parts about a cruise vacation. 

Specialty restaurants offer a more intimate dining experience compared to the large dining room. The quality of the food is also better, often prepared with premium ingredients. 

Recently, I embarked on a weeklong voyage aboard Celebrity Eclipse from the Netherlands to Norway. While onboard, my partner and I dined at two extra-cost restaurants: Tuscan Grille and Murano. 

Shore excursion tickets are usually a great souvenir to remember the fun activities you've done ashore during your cruise vacation. However, Celebrity Cruises is making it easier for guests to access their excursion information through their cell phones and SeaPass cards.

Instead of providing passengers with physical tickets, Celebrity is streamlining the process by integrating shore excursions directly into its popular mobile app.

Celebrity Infinity has finally set sail en route to Greece after unexpected technical issues that left thousands of passengers stuck in Turkey for four days.

On July 7, passengers aboard the 90,040 gross ton ship reported that a small electrical fire had broken out onboard, causing a "total blackout." 

Guests sailing aboard Celebrity Infinity were caught off guard when a reported electrical fire led to a "total blackout" onboard, leaving them unable to proceed to Mykonos. After being stuck in Turkey for two days, the remainder of the ports on the 7-night cruise have been unexpectedly canceled. 

Initially, cruisers were hopeful that they'd depart Kuşadası, Turkey, around 8:00PM. local time on July 9. However, the ongoing technical issues couldn't be resolved in time. As such, Celebrity Infinity will remain docked in Kuşadası through Friday, July 11. 

Celebrity Cruises announced new, exciting features coming to its newest ship this November. 

Fans of the award-winning Edge Class series have plenty of familiar favorites to look forward to. However, a few spots are receiving upgrades to make them even better on Celebrity Xcel. 

The upper level of The Club, for instance, will be transformed into an all-day, all-night games room with neon lights.
