Celebrity Cruises is among one of the most popular cruise lines in the world. Though not the largest, they have a modest fleet of 14 ships offering impressive itineraries around the world. By late 2025, they're expected to welcome another Edge Class ship to their fleet, increasing the number of operational vessels from 14 to 15. 

Interior staterooms on a cruise are the most affordable, but I prefer staying in balcony cabins. Not only are they typically more spacious, but nothing beats stepping outside onto your private veranda. This luxury comes at a price, though. 

On my recent voyage to Norway, my partner and I splurged on a balcony stateroom, which allowed us to take in the stunning views of the fjords from the comfort of our cabin. 

As a remote worker, reliable Wi-Fi is a must for any sailing on cruise ships. However, I recently decided to disconnect for the week and save money, purchasing the cheapest internet package on my 7-night Celebrity cruise. 

When my partner and I booked our cruise to Norway, Celebrity's basic wi-fi package was included in the bundled fare pricing, along with the line's classic drink package. Because we prefer handcrafted cocktails and premium wines over bottom-shelf liquor, we decided to splurge on the drink package upgrade. 

While Celebrity doesn't operate the largest cruise ships at sea, they're committed to keeping their fleet as modern as possible. Regardless of the size, you will find an impressive number of restaurants, bars, cabin categories, and amenities compared to other fleets. 

Whether you're seeking a ship that offers the best of what Celebrity has to offer or an intimate experience that's more focused on the destinations, you're sure to find the perfect ship for your next voyage. 

Celebrity is investing $250 million in some of its oldest ships to make them better than ever. 

The Solstice Class initially debuted in 2008, when Celebrity Solstice hit the high seas for the first time. Over the next four years, Celebrity added four more ships to the new beloved class, including Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Silhouette, and Celebrity Reflection. 

Drink packages are among the most common cruise add-ons. While your cruise fare includes select beverages, drink packages make the experience more inclusive by giving you access to a wider variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. 

However, they aren't always the most affordable. Some cruise lines charge over $80 per person, per day for their most inclusive packages, making them a serious investment.

Starting in late February and finishing in early April, spring break is a popular time for travel — especially for cruisers.
