Drink packages are popular cruise add-ons that make the onboard experience feel more inclusive. Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line doesn't offer flat-rate packages like other lines.
Whereas Carnival guests can pay around $80 per day for its CHEERS alcoholic package and receive up to 15 cocktails, beers, or glasses of wine each day (along with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks), Disney cruisers must pay for alcoholic beverages à la carte.
However, there are smart ways to save money on alcoholic and specialty beverages on a Disney cruise. For example, did you know guests can bring two bottles of wine onboard with them on embarkation day and in each port?
Here's what you need to know about Disney cruise drink packages and how to make the most of your beverage budget when sailing with Mickey and his pals.
Which drinks are included on a Disney cruise?
Select drinks are included in your Disney cruise fare, so water, tea, lemonade, milk, juice, coffee, and even soda (at specific beverage stations and during meals) can be enjoyed at no extra cost.
Things like alcohol, zero-proof cocktails, energy drinks, and specialty coffee aren't included, though.
Additionally, soft drinks ordered at a bar or through room service will cost extra. Soda is only included at the beverage stations in the buffet and on the pool deck, as well as during meals in the dining room.
Do Disney Cruise drink packages exist?

No. Although Disney Cruise Line doesn't offer traditional drink packages, they have wine and beer packages that allow you to pre-purchase a set number of wine bottles or beer at a discounted rate.
Disney says their wine packages offer a 25% savings compared to ordering bottles individually onboard. The prices of Disney's wine drink packages range from $105 to $220 for 3, 4, 5, or 7 bottles of "classic" white, red, or sparkling wines. A list of premium wines is available for an upcharge, ranging from $155 to $330 for 3 to 7 bottles:
- 3 Bottle Wine Package: $105 (Classic) or $155 (Premium)
- 4 Bottle Wine Package: $135 (Classic) or $205 (Premium)
- 5 Bottle Wine Package: $160 (Classic) or $250 (Premium)
- 7 Bottle Wine Package: $220 (Classic) or $330 (Premium)

You can order a 7-bottle package even if you're on a shorter 3 or 4-night getaway, as you're allowed to order more than one bottle each night. What you don't finish in the dining room can be taken back to your stateroom or kept for the next evening.
Moreover, those on longer cruises could opt to order a 3 or 4-bottle package and split the bottles across multiple nights. The flexibility is one of Disney's wine packages' greatest perks.
If you aren't a wine drinker, don't worry — Disney Cruise Line offers a few beer packages that let you order 6 beers for the price of 5!

So, for example, you can order 6 beers from the pre-selected list of 7 (including Corona, Budweiser, and Blue Moon) for just $36.25. Hard seltzers (i.e., Truly Pineapple or Truly Wild Berry) are also available for $32.50.
Disney Cruise Line's non-alcoholic drink packages

Disney doesn't offer unlimited non-alcoholic packages like Royal Caribbean's Royal Refreshment Package or Carnival's Bottomless Bubbles. As such, zero-proof cocktails, bottled water, and specialty coffee must all be purchased individually.
Although water is available free of charge on Disney ships, you may want bottled water accessible in your stateroom. Having water bottles stocked in your mini-fridge can make port days easier, as you can just grab a bottle or two and head off the ship, ready to stay hydrated for the day's activities.
Disney offers bottled water packages that can be pre-ordered through the line's online planning portal. Options typically include 6, 12, and 24-bottle packs. They are delivered directly to your cabin:

- 6-Pack of 18oz Bottled Water, Smart Water: $21.25
- 6-Pack of 16oz Bottled Water, Dasani: $15
- 12-Pack of 16oz Bottled Water, Dasani: $30
- 12-Pack of 16oz Bottled Water, Dasani: $60
Disney Cruise alcohol policy

You can save money on your adult beverages by bringing alcohol with you onboard on embarkation day and in port. There are limits to this, though. Each adult is only permitted to carry on two 750ml bottles of wine or champagne — no liquor is allowed.
That said, if wine isn't your go-to, you'll be thrilled to know that Disney, unlike most other mainstream lines, lets guests carry on small quantities of beer (just 6 beers, no larger than 12oz). It's likely not enough to last you the entire cruise, but you can save a little money while you sip on your favorite brews.
Plus, unlike other mainstream cruise lines, Disney allows guests to carry on limited quantities of beer and wine in port. This means that you could purchase another 6-pack of beer in Nassau or Cozumel and bring it back to your stateroom for that evening. Note that any liquor purchased in port will be held by the crew and delivered on the last night.
Disney Cruise Line no longer offers happy hours onboard their fleet

You used to be able to save a few dollars on every drink during the ship's designated happy hours. However, Disney has phased this hack out.
"I just spent a week on the Magic and did not see any happy hours listed in the app at all," wrote one person on a DIS Boards discussion in April 2025.
Another added, "Just disembarked the Wish on Monday, and no happy hour."

As disappointing as that is, beer drinkers can still purchase the DCL beer mug and receive a discount on every beverage ordered from the ship's bars.
With the mug, you'll get a 23-ounce pour for the price of a 16-ounce pour. You don't have to carry the mug around with you, either. You can exchange the physical mug for a small token that you can hand to a bartender when you're ready for a refill.
The mug itself costs $18.00, and depending on how much beer you drink, it can quickly pay for itself.

Disney Cruise Line also offers special drink of the day deals. The rotating cocktail can be found on the Navigator App, but you can also ask any bartender onboard.
The drink of the day costs $6.50 before the mandatory 18% service charge, bringing the total to just $7.17.
