Princess Cruises announced a major new batch of cancelled cruises that delay the cruise line's ability to restart through at least the first quarter of 2021.
All Princess Cruise sailings are cancelled through March 31, 2021.
In addition, any cruise longer than 7-nights is cancelled through November 1, 2021. Cruises departing in and out of Japan through June 25, 2021 are also cancelled.
Princess had earlier extended its pause in operations for cruises departing from Australia and New Zealand through May 31, 2021.
The new round of cancellations was announced to provide more time to complete all the needed tasks that are outlined in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) framework to allow cruises to possibly restart.
Princess is extending its pause in global operations to allow time for the estimated preparation needed for completing required activities prior to sailing and taking into consideration the temporary seven-day cap on itineraries that call at a U.S. port.
Guests who had booked one of these now cancelled cruises can choose between a refund or a 125% future cruise credit.
