Carnival Cruise Line might be family-friendly, but an area at its upcoming private destination in The Bahamas will be focused on adults. 

The cruise line recently revealed details about the Pearl Cove Beach Club, an exclusive retreat at Celebration Key for guests 18 and older. Inside the beach club, patrons will find an 11,000-square-foot private infinity pool, swim-up bar, plush daybeds, pink-striped sun umbrellas, overwater cabanas, and more. 

Some people repeat stereotypes about a Carnival Cruise, but I strongly disagree. Within the last few years, Carnival Cruise Line has built three mega cruise ships that have revolutionized the cruise line. These modern cruise ships are unlike anything the cruise line had built before.

Criminals are targeting cruise-goers in a recent wave of scams, often using information shared by travelers on social media.

Carnival Cruise Line is planning to expand its fleet of FUN ships with three more mega cruise vessels on the way.

In an exciting announcement released today, July 23, 2024, Carnival Cruise Line unveiled finalized plans to build three new cruise ships in a brand-new ship class. The new cruise ships are scheduled to be released in 2029, 2031, and 2033. The ship names were not announced at this time. 

Indulging in all of the delicious food is always one of the highlights of cruising, and Carnival Cruise Line is known for having some of the most popular dining options in the cruise industry.

The demand for cruising is at an all-time high, with companies such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian reporting record-breaking bookings. 

"We are hitting records on top of previous records, which clearly tells us the strength and demand we have been building is continuing into next year and beyond," said Josh Weinstein, Carnival Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer during the company's 2024 second-quarter earnings call. 

Nobody wants to change their vacation plans. However, if you need to cancel an upcoming Carnival cruise, you've come to the right place. 

Generally, there's no penalty to cancel a Carnival cruise before the final payment day, which is 76 days before sailing for cruises 5 nights or less and 91 days prior to sailing for cruises 6 nights or more. However, some cheap fares have stricter terms and conditions.

For example, the monies paid for a Pack & Go fare are non-refundable after booking, whereas the deposit on Super Saver fares is non-refundable after booking. 

One group of passengers on a Carnival cruise ship started a large fight when an argument escalated very quickly.

After sailing primarily with Royal Caribbean, I decided to take the plunge and book a Carnival cruise last October on Carnival Celebration, the newest Excel Class ship (at the time). Since then, I've explored three other ship classes within the fleet: Vista, Conquest, and Fantasy. 

While I don't foresee myself booking another sailing on a Fantasy Class ship, the cruise experience is what you make of it, and each class offers its own unique charm and amenities.
