Carnival Cruise Line might be family-friendly, but an area at its upcoming private destination in The Bahamas will be focused on adults.

The cruise line recently revealed details about the Pearl Cove Beach Club, an exclusive retreat at Celebration Key for guests 18 and older. Inside the beach club, patrons will find an 11,000-square-foot private infinity pool, swim-up bar, plush daybeds, pink-striped sun umbrellas, overwater cabanas, and more.

“Celebration Key will give our guests elevated options and experiences across its five portals and we’ve specifically designed Pearl Cove Beach Club as the perfect place for adults to lounge, unwind or relax in their own paradise,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

“Guests booked on cruises to Celebration Key can now start planning their day as we open reservations for Pearl Cove, along with daybeds, cabanas and our unique supervillas, as well as shore excursions that celebrate the culture and beauty of Grand Bahama.”

Admission isn't Pearl Cove isn't included in the cost of a Carnival cruise. Instead, cruisers can select one of three packages, which start at $99.99 per person:

  • Club access plus a welcome drink. Though this option doesn't include food and beverages, guests can purchase anything they'd like on-site.
  • Club access plus open bar (with a maximum of 10 drinks). With the open bar, there are a few limitations; however, guests may choose from drinks like draft domestic beer, house red and white wine, well drinks, and rum punch. This mid-range option starts at $139.99 per person.
  • Club access all-inclusive (with a maximum of 10 drinks + food from the Pearl Cove restaurant) is the most expensive, starting at $179.99 per person.

Scheduled to open in July 2025, Pearl Cove Beach Club is set to offer an adult-only escape at Carnival's new private destination, Celebration Key

Located in the westernmost post of the new destination, Pearl Cove Beach Club is separated from the louder family-friendly areas, similar to Royal Caribbean's Hideaway Beach

Whether you want to hang out in the massive infinity pool while listening to tunes spun by the DJ or relax on the beautiful white sand beach, Pearl Cove offers the perfect escape for adults seeking a child-free oasis away from the bustling activities elsewhere at Celebration Key.

Carnival Cruise Line has yet to release menu details for the Pearl Cove restaurant. Moreover, there's no word regarding complimentary dining options inside Pearl Cove Beach Club. However, they said there will be poolside and beachfront service.

They also haven't said anything about Pearl Cove's capacity. However, as Celebration Key will be able to accommodate four Excel Class ships once the second pier is completed, the beach club will likely be designed to handle a substantial number of guests while also maintaining a relaxed and exclusive atmosphere.

Reservations for Pearl Cove Beach Club are now available through January 2, 2026. As later sailings approach, Carnival will open bookings for the adult-only retreat.

As of now, Carnival has released over 500 itineraries on 18 ships from nine embarkation ports through May 2026 with a scheduled stop at Celebration Key, ranging from 3-night sailings from Florida to 15-day Transatlantic cruises from Europe.

Pearl Cove Beach Club isn't the only adults-only area at Celebration Key

Celebration Key's 65-acre plan includes plans to appease a wide range of interests and preferences, from expansive family-friendly zones with water slides to two adult-only escapes: Pearl Cove Beach Club and Calyspo Lagoon. Though the former costs extra, Calypso Lagoon allows adults an included child-free escape.

True to Carnival's brand, patrons can expect an energetic vibe, complete with a DJ, a swim-up bar, cabana rentals, daybeds, and a full-service restaurant. In comparison, the Pearl Cove Beach Club will be tamer, as the DJ will focus on playing tropical lounge music that sets the tone for lounging and socializing with others.

According to Duffy, "Calypso Lagoon [will offer] a wide variety of options to fill the day, while honoring the beauty of Grand Bahama and celebrating Bahamian culture."

Though pricey, the villa includes admission for 10, as well as water loungers, a water slide, a villa attendant, hammock, and an eight-person dining table. It also provides "exclusive access to the largest freshwater lagoon in the Caribbean."
