Carnival Cruise Line is set to host its first-ever President's Cruise in February 2027.
President cruises aren't new in the industry, with lines like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity having offered similar events for loyal guests.
These special sailings generally have exclusive onboard experiences, including surprise musical guests, Q&A sessions, and more.
The 2027 Carnival President's Cruise will be held aboard the Carnival Magic's February 28 sailing from Miami, Florida. The six-night cruise will visit Celebration Key, Bahamas; Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos.
John Heald, Carnival's Brand Ambassador, confirmed the news on Facebook, saying, [My For Fun's Sake] #9 cruise will now also be our first ever Presidents Cruise. It will include all the usual fun, private shows and events with me, a special gift and for the first time our President Christine [Duffy] will be there with us all and she may bring along some special guest stars too."
In short, you can expect the Carnival super fans to come out, and there's a good chance that you'll meet fellow cruise enthusiasts, many of whom you may already recognize from online forums or social media groups.
How to book the inaugural Carnival President's Cruise
According to Heald's post, cruise fans must book the Carnival Magic sailing by August 30, 2026. Information about how to be added to the guest list for this special President's Cruise will be shared.
"It will be brilliant," Heald continues.
According to past cruisers, events for Heald's special For Fun's Sake cruises are usually bookable as a shore excursion for around $40. However, they're wildly popular and can often sell out within one day.
At the time of publication, rates for the President's Cruise began at $459 per person for an interior cabin (based on double occupancy). Ocean View staterooms start at $619 per person, while you can book a balcony cabin for $719 per person.
Unfortunately, suites are already sold out, and other categories of cruise rooms will likely continue to disappear quickly as word spreads about the inaugural Carnival President's Cruise.
As such, you should make your booking as soon as possible. You can either work with a trusted travel agent (we love MEI-Travel at Cruise Blog!) or directly through the Carnival website.
