Canada's cruise ship ban has forced Holland America and Princess Cruises to cancel their sailings from Vancouver.

Princess Cruises announced it has sold the Pacific Princess to an undisclosed buyer.

Princess said the sale of the ship was in line with parent company Carnival Corporation's plans to accelerate the removal of older ships from the fleet.

Princess Cruises announces 2022 Alaska cruises

Princess Cruises announced its 2022 Alaska cruise season, which will go on sale beginning on December 16, 2020.

In 2022, Princess will offer cruises on six ships, including the newest ship Discovery Princess.

A total of 12 cruise itineraries are available, along with 25 seamless cruisetour options.

Princess Cruises will offer Medallion Class on most of its ships in 2021

Princess Cruises announced when its cruises return to service its fleet will offer the Medallion Class Experience onboard.

Coral Princess, Diamond Princess, Emerald Princess, Grand Princess, Island Princess, Majestic Princess, and Sapphire Princess will return as MedallionClass ships along with the new Enchanted Princess.

Princess Cruises announced a major new batch of cancelled cruises that delay the cruise line's ability to restart through at least the first quarter of 2021.

All Princess Cruise sailings are cancelled through March 31, 2021.

In addition, any cruise longer than 7-nights is cancelled through November 1, 2021. Cruises departing in and out of Japan through June 25, 2021 are also cancelled.

Princess had earlier extended its pause in operations for cruises departing from Australia and New Zealand through May 31, 2021.
