Princess Cruises orders two new LNG-powered cruise ships
Princess Cruises announced it has entered into a deal with Fincantieri to build two new 175,000-ton cruise ships. These will be the largest ships ever built in Italy.
Each ship will have double-occupancy capacity for approximately 4,300 passengers and feature a dual-fuel system, primarily powered by LNG.
The new ships will be delivered in Monfalcone in late 2023 and in spring 2025.
Today's deal follows up on a memorandum of agreement signed in July 2018.
