Princess Cruises completes multimillion dollar upgrades to Diamond Princess

Princess Cruises announced today that the Diamond Princess has completed a 14-day dry dock in Singapore.

The dry dock work completed on the Diamond Princess is part of the cruise line's "Come Back New Promise" commitment focused on investing more than $450 million across the global fleet.

Fire destroys Princess Cruises private island in Bahamas

It appears Princess Cruises' private island in the Bahamas suffered some damage due to a fire.

Bahamas Press reports a fire ripped through Princess Cays, located on the Southern tip of Eleuthera near the community of Bannerman Town.

Reports say the fire started late Monday night, sometime after 11pm. The fire began in the generator section and quickly spread to the center of the resort.

Two newest Princess cruise ships will have the largest balconies at sea

Princess Cruises announced today announced its two newest ships, the Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess, will have the largest balconies at sea. Launching in October 2019, the two ‘Sky Suites’ will be centrally located on the ships’ top decks, with one each around the size of half a tennis court.

A spokesperson for Princess said a 22-year-old man sailing on the Golden Princess went missing and his family has been notified.

Princess Cruises announced today that three additional Princess MedallionClass ships will be activated in 2019.

The three ships to receive the Princess MedallionClass experience are Royal Princess, Crown Princess and Sky Princess.
