Virgin Voyages "announced" on April 1 that its cruise passengers staying in RockStar Suites on Scarlet Lady will now arrive and depart via private jet transfer.

“From the sky to the sea, our RockStar Suite Sailors will truly live the glamorous life of a rockstar icon from the moment they begin their holiday. Why walk aboard the ship when you can fly,” said Tom McAlpin, president and CEO of Virgin Voyages.

Virgin Voyages announced today its first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady, will feature an onboard record shop, karaoke studio, and artfully selected music.

Due to set sail for its inaugural season in 2020, Scarlet Lady will be equipped with an on ship record shop called Voyage Vinyl, The Groupie, a private karaoke and gaming lounge, and perfectly curated music and performances by up-and-coming artists as well as music trendsetters for Virgin Voyages’ Sailors to enjoy.

Virgin Voyages has posted a new video to show off the outdoor areas on the cruise line's first ship, Scarlet Lady.

The video includes looks at the pool deck and staterooms.

Scarlet Lady will sail 4 and 5 night cruises to the Western Caribbean and Cuba from Miami, Florida.

Virgin Voyages announced today the first set of itineraries for the Scarlet Lady cruise ship, along with a look the cabin designs.

Guests will enjoy what the cruise line calls a, "sleek uber yacht style Seabed, a completely new transformational bed that converts from full-sized bed to lounger." The Seabed allows Sailors to transform their bed to a sofa for more space during the day.

Virgin Voyages, the new lifestyle brand set to disrupt the travel industry, today released several designs and images of their RockStar Suites. The new company is throwing out traditional clichés on luxury and formalities, and instead bringing Rebellious Luxe to life at sea with their RockStar Suites designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio as the pinnacle of that experience.
