Mercury is reporting a Princess Cruise ship passenger died on a sailing between Australia and New Zealand.
A spokesperson for Princess said a 22-year-old man sailing on the Golden Princess went missing and his family has been notified.
The man could not be found after public announcements and extensive searches of the ship’s cabins, common areas and technical spaces. The ship has treated the situation as a man overboard case.
The Melbourne-based Golden Princess is returning from a 13-night New Zealand cruise itinerary and scheduled to complete the cruise tomorrow.
