Regent Seven Seas took deliver of the Seven Seas Splendor ship at the Fincantieri shipyard.
This is the second ship in the class, following up the Seven Seas Explorer ship. A third vessel is due for delivery in 2023.
Seven Seas Splendor weighs 55,000 gross tons, has a length of 224 meters and can accommodate 750 passengers in 375 large suites. The ship is an all-suite vessel.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Jason Montague, President & CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Luigi Matarazzo, general manager of the Fincantieri Merchant Ships Division.
The new ship will make her official debut in Barcelona with a transatlantic cruise on February 6, 2020. Her godmother, Christie Brinkley, will christen the vessel on February 21.
