1. Comparing Carnival and Royal Caribbean's private islands!

If you are sailing on a Caribbean cruise with one of the major cruise lines, there is a good chance that one of your stops will be at one of their private destinations.

Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean, two of the most popular cruise lines in the world, each have their own exclusive cruise stops. Perfect Day at CocoCay located in the Bahamas is Royal’s island, whereas Carnival has an exclusive resort in the Dominican Republic called Amber Cove.

Allie recently visited both of these private destinations this year and compared each experience.

2. What it's like to sail on Holland America to Alaska

Alaska is a popular cruise destination, with many major cruise lines sailing there each season.

However, one of the best cruise lines to choose for this type of sailing may not be the ones that comes to your mind first. Holland America’s Eurodam ship, which launched in 2007, carries just 2,100 passengers making it relatively tiny when compared against the mega ships of other cruise lines. 

Being a smaller ship has its advantages, and Eurodam shines as it allows the destination to be the star of the show. Plus, Holland America Line has been cruising to Alaska for 75 years, which is longer than any other cruise line.

3. Hayley tried out NCL's biggest cruise ship and liked these 10 things about it!

After recently sailing onboard Norwegian Encore, Hayley was impressed with the ships's offerings and amenities.

Being one of the newer and largest ships within Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakway Plus class meant that there are plenty of activities and amenities onboard for her passengers. From the layout, to entertainment, dining and more, there was something to be enjoyed at every moment.

7. Comparing Carnival's 2 biggest ships!

Carnival Cruise Line’s newest and biggest ships have taken the industry by storm.

Carnival Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration offer more than any other Carnival ship has before, including the fun. These ships are 40% larger than all the other Carnival ships, meaning plenty of entertainment, dining, bars, and activities for guests to enjoy onboard.

8. Elizabeth tried out her first MSC cruise
