Cruise passenger goes viral after jumping off pier in Mexico and defiantly avoiding the rescue team
One cruise passenger is going viral for all the wrong reasons after being captured jumping off the ship's pier in Cozumel, Mexico.
According to multiple TikToks, the unidentified male was sailing aboard Carnival Breeze when he decided to leap from the Puerta Maya pier in Cozumel on May 30, 2026.
Videos circulating on social media show the cruise passenger in the water in Cozumel before swimming away from the cruise Puerta Maya pier as onlookers react from the dock and ship decks.

Lawsuit claims Carnival passenger was encouraged to drunkenly jump from boat before horrific accident in The Bahamas
Carnival Cruise Line is facing a lawsuit following a shore excursion incident in The Bahamas that left a passenger with serious injuries, including the loss of both her legs.
On May 12, 2025, Hannah Smith's college graduation cruise aboard Carnival Celebration quickly took a turn for the worse during a planned shore excursion in Nassau.
Smith, 22, was visiting Pearl Island's Sun Cay Beach Club when she was suddenly sucked into the propellers of a ferry boat operated by the tour company after jumping overboard on the return ride to Nassau.
I almost made a huge mistake when planning my Alaska cruise — here's how to avoid it
Have you ever thought about taking an Alaska cruise? Well, if sailing to The Last Frontier is on your bucket list, you won't want to put off booking your reservation much longer.
The beautiful glaciers, snow-capped mountains, and exciting shore excursions, like dog sledding in Skagway or a helicopter ride above Mendenhall Glacier, offer cruisers a vacation unlike any other — and certainly far from the sun-soaked, drink-in-hand vibe of a Bahamas booze cruise.
Because the sailing season to Alaska is short, it is important to book early to secure your preferred itinerary, ship, and stateroom.

I've been on 40 cruises. Here are 5 upgrades that are always worth the extra cost — and 3 to skip
Although cruise fares always include your accommodations, meals, select beverages, and onboard entertainment, there are plenty of extras that can quickly turn an otherwise affordable vacation into one that breaks the bank.
Add-ons like shore excursions, drink packages, spa treatments, private cabanas, and specialty restaurants can add up faster than you think. The good news is that cruises are highly customizable, so you don't need to spend extra on optional upgrades if you don't want to.
Having been on over three dozen cruises, ranging from port-intensive European sailings to Alaskan adventures and laid-back Bahamian getaways, Elizabeth has spent thousands on various add-ons. Some have been worth the investment, while others have left her disappointed.

I booked a $3,125 balcony cabin on a 4-day Disney cruise. The 243-square-foot room felt spacious and luxurious
Elizabeth booked a 243-square-foot verandah room on one of Disney Cruise Line's newest ships.
At over $780 per night, the vacation wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. The Category 5C stateroom was her home away from home for a short four-night getaway to The Bahamas and had a balcony, a queen-sized bed, and an innovative split bathroom design.
When she booked the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, she knew she wouldn't be getting a run-of-the-mill cruise cabin. If you've ever been on a Disney cruise, you know that they're known for maximizing comfort and functionality for families — and Elizabeth was thrilled to be proved right on her recent sailing.
