Carnival Cruise

I take a lot of Carnival cruises. These are the 10 mistakes first-timers always make

After years of sailing with Carnival Cruise Line, I’ve noticed first-time cruisers tend to make the same mistakes again and again.

Is Carnival Really That Bad? Pros and Cons of the Fun Ship Line

Carnival Cruise Line is one of the largest cruise lines in the world, with over two dozen ships in operation. Regardless of whether you're sailing on an old or new vessel, you are guaranteed a memorable experience. After all, their cruises are referred to as "Fun Ships."

Because they have a reputation for being budget-friendly and party-focused, they're a popular choice among cruisers — from large families to bachelorette parties, spring breakers, and everyone in between.

Carnival Cruise Line faces lawsuit over alleged sexual assault aboard Carnival Sunrise

An unidentified Carnival passenger is suing the cruise line after claiming another passenger sexually assaulted her.

"Jane Doe," of Massachusetts, filed a maritime personal injury lawsuit against Carnival Corporation in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida after being sexually assaulted by another passenger aboard the Carnival Sunrise.

Why every hardcore Carnival cruise fan will be on Carnival Magic in February

Carnival Cruise Line is set to host its first-ever President's Cruise in February 2027.

President cruises aren't new in the industry, with lines like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity having offered similar events for loyal guests.

These special sailings generally have exclusive onboard experiences, including surprise musical guests, Q&A sessions, and more.

Cruise passenger goes viral after jumping off pier in Mexico and defiantly avoiding the rescue team

One cruise passenger is going viral for all the wrong reasons after being captured jumping off the ship's pier in Cozumel, Mexico.

According to multiple TikToks, the unidentified male was sailing aboard Carnival Breeze when he decided to leap from the Puerta Maya pier in Cozumel on May 30, 2026.

Two other ships, Radiance of the Seas and Margaritaville at Sea's Islander, were also in Cozumel. However, they were docked at different piers: Punta Langosta and the International Cruise Terminal (SSA Mexico), respectively.

Lawsuit claims Carnival passenger was encouraged to drunkenly jump from boat before horrific accident in The Bahamas

Carnival Cruise Line is facing a lawsuit following a shore excursion incident in The Bahamas that left a passenger with serious injuries, including the loss of both her legs.

On May 12, 2025, Hannah Smith's college graduation cruise aboard Carnival Celebration quickly took a turn for the worse during a planned shore excursion in Nassau.

Carnival Cruise Line Sets the Record Straight on Latest Data Breach

Carnival Corporation & plc. has provided clarification on a recent data breach, stating that it was triggered after an unauthorized actor used clever tactics to deceive an employee and gain access to a limited portion of the company's IT system.

I went to Carnival's Celebration Key — here's what I did for free

You can have a great time at Carnival's Celebration Key without breaking the bank — and I did just that on a recent cruise aboard the Mardi Gras ship.

Before Carnival's new private destination opened, it made headlines in negative ways for upcharges like a $15 pool noodle.

While those add-ons do exist, there's so much to enjoy that doesn’t cost a dime extra on top of what you have already paid.

Is the Carnival cruise roller coaster worth $15?

Today's cruise ships are a far cry from the bare-bones vessels that launched in the 70s and 80s, featuring everything from ice skating rinks to zip lines, go-kart tracks, skydiving simulators, and more. Cruise lines continue to push the boundaries of what's possible at sea, too.

In 2021, for example, Carnival Cruise Line launched the first-ever ship with a roller coaster. BOLT: The Ultimate Sea Coaster is a unique onboard thrill that's available exclusively on Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration, and Carnival Jubilee.

The underrated Carnival cruise dessert that's always worth the trip

Carnival Cruise Line isn't known for having Michelin-star food. Instead, it is praised for its fast-casual dining options, ranging from juicy cheeseburgers to made-to-order tacos and crispy chicken sandwiches.

Although the main dining room food isn't necessarily anything to write home about either, there's a dessert that is a constant crowd-pleaser and arguably one of the most popular at sea: the Carnival chocolate melting cake
