Carnival abruptly bans this essential travel item from its cruises and customers are fuming

Carnival Cruise Line has added a new cruise essential to its prohibited items list: Bluetooth speakers. The surprising move has left many customers fuming over the change, while some are praising the cruise line for the move.

Carnival’s website was recently updated to include specific verbiage prohibiting guests from bringing speaks onboard their ships, citing safety concerns.

Carnival shuts down cruise operations from East Coast port

Florida is a major cruise hub, with popular embarkation ports in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Cruises also depart from other ports along the East Coast, from Baltimore to New York and Boston; however, one port is ceasing operations at the end of the year.

Carnival Cruise Line's new passport rule

Carnival Cruise Line has released new passport rules for guests sailing to Panama.

Did you know you don't necessarily need a passport to go on a cruise? While some itineraries, like one-way sailings from one U.S. port to another and international voyages, require a valid passport, some cruises permit a government-issued photo ID and a certified birth certificate copy as acceptable travel documentation.

I went on my first cruise as an adult. Although I enjoyed the entertainment and food, Carnival is not for me

First-time cruisers have a unique perspective, often noticing certain aspects of the onboard experience that seasoned cruisers have grown accustomed to. Moreover, experiencing everything for the first time is also exciting, opening a new world of possibilities for those keen on cruising.

Carnival is copying Royal Caribbean's playbook with a change to short cruises

5 things I liked better about Princess than Carnival, after my first Princess cruise

Though I've been on over 20 cruises, it wasn't until recently I stepped foot on a Princess ship.

Growing up, my family primarily sailed with Royal Caribbean, but within the past year, I've branched out to Carnival to learn why they have the most "FUN" ships at sea. Seeking a more upscale experience, I decided to give Princess a try, embarking on Sun Princess upon her arrival in Fort Lauderdale.

I tried Carnival's Conquest class for the first time. Here's what impressed and disappointed me the most

As one of the most popular cruise lines in the industry, Carnival Cruise Line operates a large fleet of 27 ships across eight different classes of vessels. Unlike other cruise lines, Carnival’s fleet has minor differences between its ship classes in terms of size and design.

Sailing Carnival Valor from New Orleans: My Review and Surprises Onboard

Carnival Cruise Line is best known for having the most fun ships at sea. In fact, they considers itself to be the most popular cruise line in North America with more domestic homeports than any of its competitors.

Because of this, you can find many residents who drive to their local cruise port to sail on weekend getaways with Carnival. Most are onboard to let loose and have fun in a laid-back, lively environment.

I took trips on a 1-year-old Carnival Cruise Line ship and a 27-year-old one. The differences show the evolution of the industry

If you take one look at Carnival’s oldest and newest cruise ship, you can easily see how cruise ship design has evolved over the last few decades. While traditional ships were built to be smaller and offer a more simple onboard experience, modern-day vessels are massive, floating resorts.

Recently, I sailed on Carnival’s oldest ship in its fleet, Carnival Sunshine, on a quick weekend sailing from Charleston, South Carolina. Carnival Sunshine was first built in 1996, making her older than other Fantasy Class ships.
