Giant MSC cruise ship will sail from New York with fall cruises

Is there anything better than a fall cruise? The best of nature, mild temperatures, seafood extravaganzas, and charming coastal towns are just some of the reasons why cruisers love to sail this time of year in the Northeast.

MSC Cruises has made cruising even easier with the announcement of new sailings to take advantage of the splendors of fall in New England and Canada. The cruise line is offering sailings for as little as $589 per person for a 10-day cruise and $619 for an 11-day cruise.

MSC Cruises is upgrading its private island, but needs to close it temporarily

Some MSC cruisers will be disappointed to learn that they will not be visiting Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (Ocean Cay) on their cruise. The European cruise line's idyllic private island in the Bahamas will temporarily close in 2024 as it makes way for some upgrades.

MSC Cruises, the world’s largest privately held cruise line, opened its private island in December 2019 and has become a popular port of call on many of its Caribbean sailings.

Everything I loved and hated about my European cruise with MSC Cruises

I recently returned from my first-ever European cruise onboard MSC Seashore. As someone who had only ever cruised to the Caribbean and Bahamas prior to this trip, I was intrigued to see how the experience would compare.

I was excited to visit three different countries -- Italy, Spain, and France -- via cruise ship, two of which I had never been to before! Plus, MSC Cruises was a brand-new cruise line for me. What better way to sail the Mediterranean than on a European cruise line!

I paid $740 for an inside cabin on the MSC World Europa: take a look inside my tiny windowless room

I recently took my first ever MSC cruise on the cruise line’s newest ship, the MSC World Europa.

The MSC World Europa is the 6th biggest cruise ship in the world after Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class ships. Stylish, modern, and filled with activities, MSC’s World Class is set to be a game-changer for the cruise line.

13 things I loved and hated onboard MSC Seashore

After ten cruises (eight with Royal Caribbean and two with Disney Cruise Line), I just took my first with MSC Cruises! I spent 7-nights aboard MSC Seashore sailing to Italy, Spain, and France.

MSC Seashore is a Seaside EVO ship, meaning that she is different from the first two ships in the cruise line's Seaside Class.

I took my first European cruise onboard MSC Seashore and stayed in an interior cabin, which was the cheapest available option.

Old vs new, can MSC Divina compete against MSC Seascape?

Can you still have fun on an older cruise ship? I recently sailed on both MSC Divina and MSC Seascape, the oldest and the newest MSC ships currently sailing in the Caribbean, in a bid to answer this question.

MSC Cruises is known for its competitive pricing, and I was able to get a super cheap four-day cruise, followed by a 7-day cruise on the much newer MSC Seascape.

12 things I loved and hated about my first MSC cruise

When I boarded my first MSC cruise, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Most reviews I had read of the cruise line were subpar at best, and although I usually don’t put too much faith into reviews, I couldn’t help but be a little apprehensive.

MSC Cruises, a Swiss-based cruise line, is controversial amongst many cruise fans. Long established in the European market, the cruise line has recently been gaining popularity among North American cruisers, promising low prices, trendy ships, and world-class destinations.
