On April 10, 1912, RMS Titanic departed from Southampton on what was supposed to be the maiden voyage of a lifetime. After two quick stops in Cherbourg, France and Cobh, Ireland, she began her ill-fated journey across the Atlantic Ocean before plunging below the surface of the freezing waters. The "unsinkable" vessel proved to be just that: sinkable.

Last year I had the privilege to sail on Norwegian Encore and the Disney Fantasy. Both these ships are similar because they are relatively new vessels in their fleet; however, they aren't the newest ships built by Norwegian Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line. 

Royal Caribbean got almost everything perfect with their newest and biggest cruise ship, but there were a few things I disliked about my recent cruise on Icon of the Seas.
