Grandfather charged in toddler's cruise ship death pleads guilty

The grandfather who was accused of accidentally dropping his 18-month-old granddaughter from the 11th deck of Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas has changed his plea to guilty.

Salvatore “Sam” Anello agreed to a plea deal.  He was charged with negligent homicide in October, alleging that he dropped his granddaughter, Chloe Wiegand, from an open window on the 11th floor of the cruise ship in July.

Royal Caribbean adds 15 more port stops to St. Maarten in 2020

Royal Caribbean announced it will add 15 visits to St. Maarten in 2020, which will bring as many as 68,000 additional guests to the island.

The new visits will begin in May 2020 and run through December 2020 and take place on Freedom of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean signs deal to build first Royal Beach Club

Royal Caribbean announced it has signed an agreement to build the first Royal Beach Club resort in Antigua.

The cruise line and the the government of Antigua and Barbuda, along with the assistance of the Consulate General of Antigua and Barbuda, signed an agreement that marks the start of the planning and development for the Royal Beach Club scheduled to break ground later this year.

The Royal Beach Club will be available exclusively to cruise like guests and occupy more than a half-mile of pristine beachfront.

Man found dead after falling from Royal Caribbean cruise ship

Officials believe a man fell from the 10th floor of Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas and died while the ship was in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
