A New Jersey couple sailing on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas say the cruise ship forced them to stay in Mexico when one of them got sick with a bleeding stomach ulcer.
The ship's medical staff were unable to treat her, so they opted to transfer her to a hospital.
The couple spent more than $3,400 getting home after riding in the back of a cab during a five-hour trip through the country trying to catch a plane to get back home.
The couple want an apology from Royal Caribbean. Instead, they say the cruise line offered a 20 percent-off travel voucher and no apology,
