Two more Taylor Swift-themed cruises will set sail in 2024, but don’t expect the singer to be there

Taylor Swift

A travel agency is organizing more fan-led Taylor Swift group cruises, set to depart next summer.

A few weeks ago, a travel agency unaffiliated with the popular singer announced the first Taylor Swift themed cruise, and it generated a lot of buzz.

The 4-day cruise on Allure of the Seas is for fellow fans to enjoy a cruise to The Bahamas together.  Neither Swift nor TASRM are associated with the cruise at all. Think Star Trek convention, but with Swifties instead of Trekkies.

The idea generated so much attention that a different travel agency has stepped in to borrow the idea and announced two more Taylor Swift themed cruises.

Called the "Bestie Cruise 2024", the Royal Caribbean trip is scheduled to embark from Los Angeles on two different sailings. It will take passengers on several stops across Baja California over four nights. Tickets run from $1,500 to nearly $2,000, according to the cruise’s website.

"Bestie Cruise 2024" is going to be held on two different Navigator of the Seas cruises.

The two sailings are April 29 - May 3 and July 22 - 26.

Just don’t expect Swift, or anyone close to her to show up. Just like the other cruise, this Taylor Swift themed event is not affiliated with Taylor Swift or TASRM.

The travel agency hosting the event is promising events that include themed dance parties, karaoke, games, and "your favorite music all the time!"

"From selecting cabins and booking pre/post cruise hotels, to planning dance parties, friendship bracelet making and other fun activities, we handle the details so you can focus on the fun. Our curated activities will celebrate all things Taylor, and there’s even a special surprise in store!"

Fora Travel is is the latest company looking to cash in on the hype (and associated economic boon) of Swift's popularity. Swift's record-breaking Eras tour, which launched in March, has provided a major boost in revenue to local economies, including Los Angeles, from hotels to small businesses such as street vendors.

For Swifties, the tour goes beyond being merely a concert; it serves as a chance to connect with like-minded fans. Say what you will, but Taylor Swift's widespread appeal has nurtured a community brimming with devoted and enthusiastic supporters.

The shared love for Taylor Swift among fans creates an ideal setting for a fantastic experience aboard Navigator of the Seas.

How much does it cost to sail on the Taylor Swift Fan group cruise?

According to the group's website, prices to be included in the event start at $1137 (based on double occupancy) for an inside room on the April 29 sailing.

Price includes themed activities and entertainment, welcome gift, taxes, fees, and port expenses.

As with any cruise, you will need to take into consideration what type of stateroom you want to sail in to budget appropriately. According to the agency page, balcony cabins are already sold out for the April Swiftie cruise.

If you'd like a balcony room, you can still get one for $2564 on the July 22 sailing.

Airfare is not included in the cruise fare. You will also need to book your own drink package, shore excursions, specialty dining and internet.

These are available for pre-purchase through the cruise planner or you can book onboard; however, the fare for the Taylor Swift Fan cruise does not include these premium add-ons.
