Norwegian Cruise Line introduced its new groundbreaking Prima Class in 2022 with the debut of Norwegian Prima. Since then, Norwegian has expanded and introduced its second Prima Class ship: Norwegian Viva. 

If you are someone who is a fan of Norwegian Cruise Line you may be aware that a brand new ship recently launched just five months ago. This new ship is the second vessel in the Prima Class and is named the Norwegian Viva. 

Interior cabins are typically the most affordable staterooms that you can book on a cruise ship. These no-frills staterooms might not be super spacious, but you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Over the years, interior cabins have evolved to be much more functional and stylish thanks to improved designs.

There is nothing quite like sailing on a brand-new cruise ship, as you’re able to experience the latest and greatest of what a cruise line has to offer. Similar to driving a brand-new car, everything on a new cruise ship is both fresh and modern.

2023 was a busy year for brand-new cruise ships from some of the biggest names in the cruising world, and I was lucky enough to set sail on two of the most exciting new cruise ships at sea! 

I recently returned from my first time sailing onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest and grandest ship, Norwegian Viva, during one of its first sailings departing from the United States. The itinerary was a quick 4-night sailing that visited Nassau and Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. 

2023 was an exciting year for Norwegian Cruise Line. With the debut of new itineraries and a new ship, Norwegian has seen many updates over the last twelve months. 

With the 2023 year coming to an end, we are looking forward to the future. What does 2024 have in store for Norwegian Cruise Line? 

We just returned from a 4-night sailing onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, Norwegian Viva. This brand-new ship debuted in August 2023 in the Mediterranean, and we had the privilege of sailing onboard for her first cruise departing from the United States. 

Norwegian Star and Norwegian Sun are two of the oldest ships in Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet. Both these ships were built in 2001, making them over 20 years old. Because these ships made their debut in the same year, you might think they would be very similar. However, this is not the case. These two ships have some pretty big differences. 

I recently booked my flights through Norwegian Cruise Line’s Free at Sea airfare promotion, and it saved me over $800. However, the experience was stressful and not nearly as convenient as I expected.

Unless you are lucky enough to live within driving distance of a cruise port, you will need to book flights to your embarkation port. If you plan to cruise internationally, the cost of a transatlantic flight can absolutely bust your budget.
