Margaritaville at Sea is giving away free 7-night cruises on its newest ship, the Islander. The catch? They're only available to eligible heroes.

Expanding on the line's successful "Heroes Sail Free" program, Margaritaville is releasing new offers ahead of Heroes Month in May. These include free staterooms for two on 7-night Caribbean sailings, fundraising events, and dedicated onboard tributes with community-building partners.

Since its launch in 2022 in partnership with GOVX, "Heroes Sail Free" has welcomed more than 100,000 Heroes, including U.S. active and former duty military members, first responders, medical professionals, government workers, and educators, aboard its two ships for a low-cost vacation.

“As the No. 1 cruise line for Heroes, we believe they deserve more than just our gratitude; they deserve a chance to relax and enjoy unforgettable experiences at sea,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea

“Whether it’s a well-earned getaway, a special moment of recognition, or a chance to build community, we’re dedicated to giving back to our Heroes.”

To kick off Margaritaville at Sea's expanded program, they're releasing a limited number of staterooms for eligible Heroes and a guest on 7-night cruises this fall. The cabins will be released on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 6:00pm EST.

The deal is for $0 fares on the first and second cruiser in a Cozy Interior Stateroom on cruises from Port Tampa Bay aboard Islander and Palm Beach on the Paradise. 3rd and 4th passengers can be added to the reservation at the prevailing retail rate.

Note that the offer doesn't include taxes, fees, or other port expenses, which are due at the time of booking.

During May, there will be a special drink available on Islander and Paradise, with part of its proceeds going to Hire Heroes USA. This organization equips U.S. military members, veterans, and spouses with the tools to thrive in the civilian workforce.

Hire Heroes USA's expert Transition Specialists provide personalized career coaching, resume reviews, mock interviews, LinkedIn training, and a volunteer program. Since 2005, they've helped over 100,000 people land jobs.

The Above & Beyond, crafted with U.S. spirits, will feature Tito’s Vodka, Blended Family Peach Liqueur, white cranberry, lemon juice, soda, and a floater of Blended Family Raspberry Liqueur in Margaritaville at Sea’s signature Blender Cup. For each beverage purchased, Margaritaville at Sea will donate $1 to Hire Heroes USA.

Finally, Margaritaville at Sea is expanding its heartwarming Heroes Salute to Paradise. Beginning May 2, the program will honor the onboard Heroes and allow them to build community during their vacation. It's already offered on the Islander.

Additionally, extra toasts during May ensure that all Hero contributions are celebrated, including hardworking teachers (May 5-9) and nurses (May 6-12). There will be a special toast on Memorial Day (May 26), too.
