Cruiser stunned by offensive passenger-made bingo cards

Bingo is a popular cruise activity, with passengers lining up to secure their cards in hopes of winning the jackpot. Typically, it's a ship-sponsored activity; however, a guest sailing onboard P&O Cruises' P&O Azura recently reported finding derogatory "bingo" cards mocking other passengers.

Hurricane Beryl disrupts major cruise line itineraries. Here are the major changes so far

Hurricane Beryl has caused at least 10 cruise ships to adjust their itineraries to keep passengers out of the storm's path.

At 8:00am AST on Monday, July 1, Beryl had strengthened into a powerful Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 130 mph and is moving to the west at 20 mph. Not only is Beryl the strongest storm the Windward Islands have seen since Hurricane Ivan in September 2004, but it's also the earliest Category 4 storm in the Atlantic Ocean and the only Category 4 hurricane in June on record.

Carnival banned a cruise passenger who tried a hack to tamper with water bottles

Think again before you try to get away with refilling one of the water bottles in your stateroom's cabin with tap water to save a few dollars.

The "hack" was originally shared to TikTok in July 2023 by CHRISSY 🆚 KRISSY (@krissy.kross). Since published, it's received 1.2 million views and over 14,000 likes. The comments, however, aren't praising the user for their resourcefulness.

Man was sick on a cruise and was hit with a big bill before being sent home

Nobody wants to receive an unexpected bill on vacation. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to Vincent Wasney and his fiancée, Sarah Eberlein, while cruising on Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas. Before they were allowed to disembark, they had to pay over $2,500 in medical bills for services that Wasney received onboard as a result of a series of seizures.

Couple left behind by cruise ship highlights why booking cruise line excursions is important

Jill and Jay Campbell, a couple from Garden City, South Carolina, embarked on a cruise around Africa but found themselves stranded after their independent excursion ran late.

Last week, the Campbells and six other passengers were enjoying a tour in Soa Tome and Principe, a tiny island off the coast of Western Africa, when they realized it was running longer than expected. They voiced their concerns to the tour operator and were met with reassurance, as the guide claimed they contacted the ship to let them know that they'd be running late.

For just $89 per day, you can live on a cruise ship and sail the world

If you missed the chance to board Royal Caribbean's Ultimate World Cruise, you aren't totally out of luck. In May, Villa Vie Residences' Villa Vie Odyssey will set sail from Southampton on a world cruise that will last not one, not two, but three and a half years!

Cruise passengers distraught after being left behind by ship

The last thing you want to happen on vacation is to see your cruise ship sailing away without you on it.

What are the best cruise lines of 2024 for every traveler?

Are you wondering what the best cruise line is?

There are a ton of different factors that go into the decision, and the best cruise line for you might be different than the best cruise line for your parents or coworkers!

U.S. News & World Report released their 10th edition of the Best Cruise Lines rankings that highlights 17 different cruise lines across six different categories, including best cruise line for families, best cruise lines in the Caribbean, and best cruise lines for the money.

Tropical Storm Tammy disrupts major cruise line itineraries. Here are the major changes so far

While still a tropical storm, Tammy is expected to strengthen into a hurricane, and she's already caused some cruise ships to alter their itineraries.

Tropical storm warnings have already been issued for some of the Leeward Islands, including Dominica, Guadeloupe, Antigua, Anguilla, Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, and St. Barthelemy.

This is not the first time a storm has forced cruise lines to alter itineraries this year. Back in September, for instance, Hurricane Lee caused some Bermuda cruises to sail to the Bahamas instead.

Norwegian drops a stateroom perk and doubles down on solo cabins

Norwegian Cruise Line is making some pretty big changes to stateroom categories onboard all ships in their fleet.

Those sailing with Norwegian in 2024 and beyond will either be thrilled or disappointed to hear that they are removing the spa category of staterooms.

Moreover, they are adding about 1,000 solo cabins to all ships, meaning that there will be an increased opportunity for guests traveling alone to score a studio cabin
