Carnival Cruise Line Changes Itineraries for Three More Ships

Following last week's decision to change the itineraries on eight ships, Carnival has announced three more ships have had their itineraries adjusted on select sailing in 2025 and 2026.

According to Carnival's cruise contract, they can tweak itineraries, ranging from minor changes to the hours in a specific port to completely changing scheduled calls.

Here's when Celebrity will put new 2026-2027 cruises on sale

Booking cruise vacations in advance typically helps guests secure the best rate and gives them something exciting to look forward to, so loyal Celebrity cruisers will be thrilled to know that we know when Celebrity Cruises will open up new 2026-2027 cruises.

The deployment schedule covers Alaska, Australia, Bermuda, Canada/New England, the Canals, Hawaii, Iceland, Japan, Europe, South America, Caribbean, and Asia, giving potential sailors plenty of itinerary choices.

Can you bring food on a cruise and how much?

From unlimited buffets to multi-course meals in the Main Dining Room, there's no shortage of food on a cruise ship. However, when you are finalizing your packing, you might wonder if you can bring your favorite snack onboard, especially if you're a picky eater or have certain dietary restrictions.

Whatever the reason, while cruise lines have specific rules regarding bringing food onboard, most allow small quantities of non-perishable snacks. Some may even allow alcohol to be brought onboard on embarkation day!

Hurricane Francine delays Carnival cruise ship from returning to port

Hurricane season is upon us, and the latest storm in the Gulf of Mexico is impacting Carnival Cruise Line’s current operations.

Hurricane Francine poses a significant threat to the coast of Louisiana as the storm approaches land. The hurricane is anticipated to make landfall in Louisiana on Wednesday night as a Category 1 hurricane. With September 10 marking the climatological peak of hurricane activity, the storm is no surprise given the current conditions in the Gulf of Mexico.

I spent 7 days eating on a cruise ship. Here's everything I ate, including a few dishes I would skip next time

Most cruisers will agree: food indulgence and cruising go hand-in-hand. One of the best aspects of cruising is having unlimited access to food throughout your voyage. Even better, most dining options are included in your cruise fare.

Why did the Titanic break in half?

No ship in history has captured the world's imagination quite like the Titanic, with its tragic story etched into collective memory spawning countless documentaries, movies, and even museums.

What are port fees on a cruise and how much are they? (2025)

Once gratuities and add-ons like drink packages and shore excursions have been added to your cruise fare, it’ll be hundreds of dollars more than the advertised price. Thankfully, cruise lines have begun including port fees to give guests a clearer indication of the total cost of their cruise upfront.

Though cruise fares might seem a little higher than one year ago when scrolling on the line’s website, the transparency helps potential sailors gauge the full cost of the cruise from the start, rather than later in the booking process.

Norwegian Jade Exposed: The 15 Things I Couldn’t Ignore

Last week, I had the privilege of sailing on the Norwegian Jade, my second ship in Norwegian Cruise Line’s Jewel Class. Built in 2006, the Jade has been sailing for nearly two decades, but it’s far from obsolete.

It’s always interesting to experience how older ships compare to the newer, flashier models in Norwegian’s fleet. While there’s a lot to love about the Norwegian Jade, there are also a few areas where the ship’s age is starting to show.

Here’s a breakdown of what I loved—and what I didn’t—about this cruise experience.

Weirdest things people have tried to smuggle on a cruise ship

You don't want to start your cruise vacation by being denied boarding because you tried to smuggle something prohibited onboard the ship.

Even if you're still allowed onboard, you may have to speak with security to clear up the issue and have the item confiscated until disembarkation day.
