All the crew members on Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and Regent Seven Seas cruise lines will have its crew members vaccinated for COVID-19.

While the decision to require guests to be vaccinated continues, crew members will be completely vaccinated.

A spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. confirmed that the policy change.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) announced it has cancelled its April 2021 cruises.

The cruise brands, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, will now not be able to sail through April 30, 2021.

The rationale for the new batch of cancelled cruises is more time needed to prepare for sailings to restart, "the Company continues to work through its return to service plan to meet the requirements of the Framework for Conditional Sailing Order issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”)."

Any chance of cruises restarting in March for NCL has ended as of today.

Norwegian Cruise Line announced on Tuesday it has decided to push back the restart of the only cruise ships that were still scheduled to sail in March 2021.

Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Escape, and Norwegian Joy sailings have been suspended through and including March 31, 2021. 

All other NCL sailings in March were previously suspended.

Norwegian Cruise Line announced on Tuesday it would extend its cruise cancellations an additional two months to include all of February 2021, including some ships as far out as March.

NCL has cancelled all of its cruises through February, as well as cruises in March 2021 for the following ships:

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) announced on Monday that it has cancelled all of its December 2020 cruises

NCLH, which also owns Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, made the announcement a few days after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) opened the door for cruises to conditionally restart.

Norwegian Cruise Line announced on Monday it has cancelled all of its cruises through November 2020, and a few other ships will not sail until at least April 2021.

NCL posted an update on its website that it has decided to extend its voluntary suspension of all cruises through November 2020.

In addition, cruises on three ships are cancelled through the end of March 2021:

Norwegian Cruise Line announced on Thursday new sailings guests can book for 13 cruise ships during the Winter 2022-2023 cruise season.

Update, 5/1/2021: On October 31, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention allowed its no-sail order to expire and issued a conditional sailing framework, to which all ships must adhere in order to resume cruising. Since that time, Norwegian Cruise Line has pushed back its restart date through July 31, 2021, with select ships' voyages canceled into November.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings informed travel partners that it has no additional cancellations to announce.

If you believe in the saying "no news is good news", then NCLH's non-announcement should be taken as a good sign.

In a statement to travel advisor partners, NCLH shared, "We committed to sharing additional known suspensions at the end of each month and in August there were no further voyage suspensions to announce. We continue to evaluate the situation and will provide updates as soon as possible."
