Royal Caribbean will debut 5 private islands in the next 5 years

Cruisers can expect Royal Caribbean to open five new private islands over the next five years.

Travel Weekly spoke with Royal Caribbean International President & CEO Michael Bayley, who indicated Royal Caribbean will open five ‘Perfect Day’ private islands over the next five years.

Following the revamping of Perfect Day at CocoCay, the cruise line will add private islands in Asia, China, off the coast of Australia and another in the Caribbean.

Michael Bayley, said: “We have been busy acquiring land around the world and each one will have a slightly different concept, depending on what each market’s idea of a perfect day is.”
