Celebrity Xcel, the fifth ship in the award-winning Edge Class, will sail her inaugural European season in 2026. Not only will this be the first time this brand-new ship will sail in European waters, but she will also offer Celebrity Cruises' first overnight stops in Madeira, Portugal. Guests can choose between 7- to 11-night Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona and Athens.

Xcel will be joined by two other Edge Class ships—Celebrity Ascent and Apex—in Europe, too. Ascent will return to the Mediterranean with cruises from Rome, Athens, and Lisbon. Similarly, Celebrity Apex will sail from Southampton for the third season in a row and offer guests Arctic Circle and Norwegian Fjord itineraries.

Additionally, Celebrity Silhouette will embark on the cruise line's largest season in Iceland. The 122,400 gross registered ton vessel will also offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the solar eclipse at sea, joining cruise lines like Carnival, Princess, and Holland America.

Taking a world cruise eliminates the need to stress about booking transportation and countless hotels. Instead, cruise lines bear the burden of worrying about the details while you focus on your journey.

For the first time ever, Celebrity is offering a 110-night Grand Voyage from Canada to Hong Kong on Celebrity Solstice, which will have just been refurbished ahead of this epic adventure.

Departing in September 2026, the Grand Voyage will cruise to the icy glaciers of Alaska, Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and more. In total, guests will visit 55 destinations across 15 countries.

For the first time, Celebrity Millennium will homeport out of the brand-new Narita terminal, which is located closer to Tokyo and will offer guests more opportunities to explore the city's nightlife during overnight stays.

Not only that, but Millennium will return to Hualien, Taiwan for the first time since 2018. Hualien is known for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. For example, it's home to Taroko Gorge, one of Taiwan's most famous natural parks that features dramatic cliffs, lush landscapes, and scenic hiking trails. It's also home to various temples, such as the Hualien Chenghuan Temple.

Guests can also choose from one-way sailings between Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan. In addition, Celebrity will offer unique sailings during the Gion Festival, Golden Week, and the Nebuta Festival.

Celebrity Edge is set to return to Alaska for her third season, while Celebrity Solstice and Summit will offer guests the opportunity to explore the state's lush landscapes, icy glaciers, and charming coastal towns with voyages from Seattle, Vancouver, and Seward.

On Edge, passengers can marvel at Dawes Glacier from The Magic Carpet, a cantilevered, floating platform that provides breathtaking views of the glacier and surrounding scenery.

Of course, you can opt to further explore Alaska with a land-based Cruisetour experience. While parts of Alaska are best visited on a cruise ship, Alaska's inland cities are rich in history, too. Celebrity's Cruisetours will take guests to places like Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali, allowing them to stay in rustic lodges and travel on remote roads and railways.
