Celebrity Cruises announced it will no longer charge guests extra for tips, alcoholic beverages or even internet access.

As part of the cruise line's "Always Included" program, Celebrity Cruises will now include these options as part of the cruise fare. 

Guests booking a Celebrity cruise can expect the following to be included in what they pay for their room:

Update, 4/11/2021: On October 31, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention allowed its no-sail order to expire and issued a conditional sailing framework, to which all ships must adhere in order to resume cruising. Since that time, Celebrity Cruises has pushed back its restart date through June 30, 2021.

The line has also canceled the full Europe seasons for Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Constellation through October 2021.

In celebration of International Women's Day, Celebrity Cruises announced it will make history with the first-ever sailing with an entirely female bridge and officer team.

This historic sailing will take place on International Women's Day – March 8, 2020 – aboard Celebrity Edge. Captain McCue will be at the helm and will be accompanied by 26 other women to create an all-female bridge and officer leadership team, and Celebrity's President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

Celebrity Xpedition ran aground last night while sailing in the Galapagos islands.

Celebrity Cruises parent company shared a post on Twitter indicating that the incident occurred, but there were no reported injuries and guests and crew are safe.

Celebrity will evacuate the passengers to a nearby vessel, the Celebrity Flora.
