Norwegian Cruise Line

I cruised to Europe with a first-timer. Here's why she might not cruise again.

Cruising for the first time can be equally exciting as it is nerve-racking. For those who have never stepped foot on a cruise ship before, everything onboard is a new experience — both good and bad.

I booked a cruise that included an international flight for $160 per day. Was it worth it to cruise during shoulder season?

European cruises can bust your budget, so I couldn’t resist an incredible deal I found on a 10-night British Isles cruise onboard Norwegian Star. The cruise only cost $1,600 in total, which included international flights to and from London, England.

Most would agree this is a fantastic price for a port-intensive cruise in Europe; however, this was the last British Isles sailing of the year. Cruising in October is considered "shoulder season" for this region, as the ideal timeframe to cruise around the United Kingdom is June to September.

Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship to feature a hybrid rollercoaster

The third ship in Norwegian's Prima Class will set sail in April 2025. Dubbed "Norwegian Aqua," this brand-new vessel will be unlike other ships in her class.

At 1,056 feet long and 156,300 gross registered tons, she will be about 10% larger than Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, which both come in around 965 feet long and 142,500 gross registered tons.

We cruised to the United Kingdom during rainy season: Here's why it was a bad idea

We recently returned from an epic cruise onboard the Norwegian Star around the British Isles in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We found this cruise at a great price, and while we were lured in by the cheap price and exciting itinerary this cruise had one big caveat: the unpredictable fall weather in Northern Europe.

I stayed in a windowless cabin onboard Norwegian Star that cost $1,700 — here's what my inside stateroom looked like

I just returned from a 10-night cruise onboard Norwegian Star, one of the cruise line’s oldest ships, and I stayed in an inside cabin guarantee that cost $1,700.

19 things I loved and hated about a 20 year old cruise ship, NCL Star

Norwegian Star is one of the oldest ships in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet. She made her debut in September 2001, making her over two decades old! We were curious to see how this old ship would hold up to our experiences on some of Norwegian’s newer vessels.

Norwegian drops a stateroom perk and doubles down on solo cabins

Norwegian Cruise Line is making some pretty big changes to stateroom categories onboard all ships in their fleet.

Those sailing with Norwegian in 2024 and beyond will either be thrilled or disappointed to hear that they are removing the spa category of staterooms.

Moreover, they are adding about 1,000 solo cabins to all ships, meaning that there will be an increased opportunity for guests traveling alone to score a studio cabin

What It's Like to Work As a Performer on a Cruise Ship

Have you ever wondered what it is like to work as a performer onboard a cruise ship?

Alysia Vastardis is currently contracted onboard Norwegian Viva, Norwegian Cruise Line's brand-new Prima Class ship that launched August 2023, as an ensemble performer.

Norwegian Cruise Line suites: What's included & is it worth it?

Norwegian Cruise Line suites are unlike standard hotel suites in that they tend to come with quite a few perks that are meant to help elevate your cruising experience. Not only are these cabins more spacious than your standard staterooms, but the upgraded amenities and additional space help to make your cruise more luxurious.

Depending on what ship you are sailing on, you can expect suites to come in a few different sizes and layouts. If you want the best of the best, you'll want to narrow your search to the cruise line's newest ships.
