Norwegian Star is one of the oldest ships in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet. She made her debut in September 2001, making her over two decades old! We were curious to see how this old ship would hold up to our experiences on some of Norwegian’s newer vessels. 

Norwegian Cruise Line is making some pretty big changes to stateroom categories onboard all ships in their fleet. 

Those sailing with Norwegian in 2024 and beyond will either be thrilled or disappointed to hear that they are removing the spa category of staterooms. 

Moreover, they are adding about 1,000 solo cabins to all ships, meaning that there will be an increased opportunity for guests traveling alone to score a studio cabin. 

A drink package is a popular add-on for cruisers who want to save money or are worried about an unexpectedly large bill at the end of their cruise.

Alysia Vastardis is currently contracted onboard Norwegian Viva, Norwegian Cruise Line's brand-new Prima Class ship that launched August 2023, as an ensemble performer.

One angry dad is taking to TikTok to share his recent experience onboard Norwegian Bliss while taking a dream cruise to Alaska with his wife and two children. 

The TikTok user, Moonie, criticized Norwegian Cruse Line for charging hundreds of dollars for extra onboard their cruise ships, such as internet access and Starbucks coffee, even for suite guests. He claims these onboard extras are a total scam for the prices being charged.
