The Disney Teasure was christened by Disney Cruise Line last week in New York City, with a drone show over the Hudson River in a way only Disney can do. Take a look with us, as our friends at MEI Travel had an exclusive preview of the new spaces on this ship.
As you board the Disney Treasure you are greeted by the Grand Hall. Here you will notice a distinct difference between this and other ships in the fleet.
The colors on the Disney Treasure are rich tones—ones you would find in a faraway land, such as Agrabah from Disney’s Aladdin. Jasmine and Aladdin greet you on their Magic Carpet, as you will be whisked away on a grand adventure at sea.
Captain Minnie is at the helm of the Disney Treasure, and she has a special outfit just for the occasion.
The staterooms on the Disney Treasure have themes from various Disney movies
Among its 1,256 cabins and suites, you will find adventure everywhere. There are nods to Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Encanto, and more in Treasure's standard staterooms, while the suites feature The Lion King.
The hallway carpets match the theme as well, so they change throughout the ship. The four Royal Suites are either Jungle Book or Aladdin themes, while the two-story Tomorrow Tower Suite pays homage to EPCOT, one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World.
The theming for all the staterooms is not at all tacky; it’s very subtle and just a reminder that you are on a Disney Cruise.

Dining
Disney Cruise Line features a rotational dining system, as opposed to a standard Main Dining Room. On a Disney Cruise, you rotate between three uniquely themed restaurants, and your wait staff goes with you each night. That means you will dine in each restaurant twice during your cruise aboard Disney Treasure.
Plaza De CoCo
Plaza De Coco is brand new to the fleet and exclusively found onboard Disney Treasure. This new concept offers themed dinners with a live show featuring mariachis, violinists, and singers all telling the story of CoCo.
On your first night, watch as Miguel and the town mariachis entertain with lively song and dance. Then, on the second night, behold the plaza’s transformation into a fun-filled Dia de los Muertos celebration with Mamá Coco, Abuelita, and the rest of the Rivera family.
Worlds of Marvel
Suit up for 2 distinct nights of heroic dining at Worlds of Marvel. In the brand-new “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix,” follow Groot during his on-screen quest to throw the ultimate surprise party for his friend Rocket.
Plus, eat to the beat while listening to hit songs from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies’ Awesome Mix tapes and test your knowledge of all things Marvel with a fun-filled trivia game for the whole family.
And in “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” featuring a special in-person appearance by Spider-Man, you can help save the day with the aid of powerful quantum technology.
1923
Named after the year the Walt Disney Company was founded, this restaurant is adorned with props, art, and decor from Disney's decades of storytelling.
Feel like Hollywood royalty as you dine on fresh California cuisine amid storyboards, sketches, and props from adventure-themed Disney movies like Tarzan, The Lion King, Aladdin, and more.

Quick Bites
Looking for something quick or a coffee with a little cricket? The Disney Treasure has you covered.
You will find the perfect treat at Jumbeaux's Sweets, a larger-than-life ice cream parlor inspired by Jerry Jumbeaux Jr. from Zootopia.
Bring an elephant-sized appetite as you browse a selection of more than 31 flavors of handmade gelato and ice cream, plus specialty treats, candies, and more.
There's also the Jade Cricket Café. From the central moon gate to the plum blossom flowers, hints of Mulan are at the heart of this coffee shop.
Finally, Heihei Café is inspired by Moana’s isle of Motunui.
Bars
The bars on the Disney Treasure take theming up a whole new level. There is one bar in particular that is dying to meet you at sea.
Periscope Pub
Inspired by Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea," this bar takes you into the Nautilus! It's complete with a giant periscope, porthole windows, and a ceiling that makes you feel you are underwater.
Skipper Society
I’m sure you can tell by the name which attraction this bar is inspired by. Sit back and relax under the tiki birds, while you sip on a tropical cocktail as familiar sounds play above.
Fun fact: The green and red tones on the walls are the EXACT color of the jungle cruise marquee at Disneyland Park.
Haunted Mansion Parlor
Make your way to the dead center of the room, as you experience this one-of-a-kind bar. It's designed to resemble a first-class drawing room on a classic oceanliner that has been taken into the ghostly realm.
Guests can indulge in specialty cocktails with ghostly messages and ghoulish embellishments. Here you can find homages to the original park attraction and its cast of ghostly characters, as well as a visit from Madame Leota herself. But beware, everything isn’t as it seems.
Tip: This bar will open at 5pm daily and at 9pm becomes 18+ only.
Scat Cat Lounge
This jazzy space where "everybody wants to be a cat" is inspired by Disney's "The Aristocats" animated film. Just off the Grand Hall, this adults-only space comes alive with a baby grand piano.
On the menu, you will find the Cat Drink, made with clarified bourbon, amaro, Aperol, and fresh lemon, which creates a near-translucent cocktail that highlights the cat design at the bottom of the glass.
Shows
New to the Disney Treasure is "Disney The Tale of Moana," its new Broadway-style musical. The show will mark the first time Disney has brought the story of Moana to the stage.
The musical features popular songs and favorite characters from the animated movie. This can be seen in the Walt Disney Theater, along with returning favorites Beauty and the Beast and Disney Seas the Adventure.
