Royal Caribbean is bringing its exclusive beach club experience to Europe.

On Tuesday, Royal Caribbean Group revealed in its third-quarter earnings report that it plans to open a new beach club in Greece.

The Royal Beach Club Santorini is scheduled to open in 2026 and will only be available to passengers on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity ships. However, local residents can purchase day passes to the beach club, based on availability.

"Santorini is an incredible destination that our guests love to explore, and with this new beach club, we are able to bring the best of what the island has to offer with the signature service Royal Caribbean is known for," said Royal Caribbean President and C.E.O. Michael Bayley.

Here's what we know about this new exciting destination.

How much does the Royal Beach Club Santorini cost?

Unlike Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day Collection (i.e., Perfect Day at CocoCay, Perfect Day at Lelepa, and Perfect Day Mexico), the beach clubs aren't included in the cost of the cruise fare.

These exclusive clubs are designed to offer a more intimate, resort-style experience, with limited capacity, elevated amenities, and unique food and beverage options

Although Royal Caribbean didn't disclose pricing, it's already available for booking through the cruise line's Cruise Planner.

Most day passes seem to cost around $200 per adult, with the onboard price going as high as $284.

Children are charged a lower rate. If, for example, the adult pass costs $197.99, the children's pass might be priced around $138.99.

What's included in the cost of admission?

Royal Caribbean wants the beach club to be part of the "Ultimate Santorini Day," as such, guests should expect more than an afternoon lounging on beach chairs.

In addition to the club's amenities, those who book a pass to the Royal Beach Club Santorini will also have a chance to explore the white-washed buildings and blue-domed churches in Oia, stroll through local cafes, and more.

A day pass to the Royal Beach Club Santorini includes:

  • Access to a volcanic black sand beach along the Aegean Sea
  • Complimentary gourmet beachfront dining
  • Umbrellas and lounge chairs
  • Wi-Fi
  • Scenic ferry tour along Santorini’s coastline, with stops in Oia and Fira

Where will the Royal Beach Club Santorini be located?

According to Royal Caribbean, the Royal Beach Club Santorini will be built at an already-existing beach club. However, they're going to completely transform the site to feature upgraded amenities that blend with the natural landscape while incorporating sustainable materials.

Royal Caribbean Blog reported that, based on leaked concept art of the beach club, it appears that the Royal Beach Club Santorini will take over the spot of the Theros Wave Bar, which is located in Eros Beach.

Theros Wave Bar is roughly 7 miles, or 11.6 kilometers, from the cable car depot in Fira.

Please note that this is just speculation. Royal Caribbean Group has not confirmed the exact location of the new beach club. The cruise line has only stated that the Royal Beach Club Santorini will be developed on an existing beach club site.
