Royal Caribbean kicks streamers off cruise ship for reportedly fighting and being nuisances

A group of Royal Caribbean cruisers was kicked off one of the line's biggest ships after fighting and disturbing other guests. 

The downfall of an organized streamers' cruise aboard Harmony of the Seas began when two of the live streamers got into an altercation on the pool deck.

Five more guests were kicked off Harmony of the Seas while the Oasis Class ship was docked in Costa Maya, Mexico, with a few live-streaming the ordeal on Kick.

Family sues Carnival Cruise Line for allegedly not taking care of a bed bug problem

Two cruisers who allegedly suffered severe bed bug bites during a Carnival cruise in February 2025 are suing the cruise line. 

The passengers claimed that their cruise cabin aboard Carnival Horizon had a bed bug infestation and that Carnival was negligent in their response.

They are seeking damages related to the medical costs, lost property, scarring, emotional distress, and other "ongoing" harm related to the alleged bed bug incident on Carnival Horizon.

Royal Caribbean becomes next cruise line to axe Broadway shows from ships

Grease was removed from the entertainment line-up on Harmony of the Seas and Independence of the Seas.

The show made its high seas debut aboard Royal Caribbean ships in July 2016, initially launching on Harmony of the Seas. Grease was later added to Independence of the Seas. 

The cruise line has not announced what new production will replace it. As such, it's unclear whether they will add a new Broadway show or replace Grease with an original production.

Recently, Norwegian has been under fire for controversial decisions that impact the onboard experience. 

From extra fees for main dining room entrées to new drink package restrictions, many loyal NCL fans are arguing that the value and flexibility of "Freestyle Cruising" is disappearing.
