Celebrity Cruises announced yesterday, November 10th 2022, its most ambitious cruise season yet, scheduled to make its debut for the 2024 to 2025 season, as the cruise line will conduct nearly 500 cruise sailings.

“For our 2024/2025 season, we wanted to take our offerings to new heights - all in celebration of our fourth Edge Series ship, Celebrity Ascent, sailing its inaugural season in 2024,” states the President and Chief Executive Officer of Celebrity Cruises, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

I was lucky enough to spend 48 hours onboard Celebrity Cruises’ newest cruise ship, Celebrity Beyond - and I already can’t want to go back.

As a longtime Royal Caribbean cruiser, this was my first experience on sister-brand Celebrity Cruises.

I’ve been under the impression that Celebrity's brand emphasizes a more sophisticated, adult-centered experience for cruisers with a particular emphasis on sailing to far-flung destinations.

Celebrity Beyond is the newest ship from Celebrity Cruises - and it's like nothing the cruise industry has seen before.

From the incredible innovation to the intricate and thoughtful design around every corner, Celebrity Beyond takes cruising to a whole new level. 

We were lucky enough to be invited for a 2-night sailing onboard Celebrity Beyond for its naming and christening ceremony. This is a longstanding maritime tradition that involves smashing a bottle of champagne against a ship's hull to symbolize the ship's ceremonial debut.

Today, November 1st 2022, Celebrity Cruises announced that one of its Edge Class vessels will be making its homeport in Southampton, United Kingdom, for the duration of the 2024 cruise season.

The award-winning Celebrity Apex is currently scheduled to replace the recently revitalized Celebrity Silhouette, that is sailing Europe, and departs from Southampton. This switch is set to open up new ways for guests to explore Europe with Celebrity Cruises in 2024.

Yesterday, October 25th 2022, Celebrity Cruises announced the arrival of its newest ship, the Celebrity Beyond, to the New York, U.S. region.

The arrival of Celebrity Beyond in New York, marks the beginning of this vessel’s debut to North American waters.

“The latest in the industry-transforming Edge Series, Celebrity Beyond will officially set sail on its inaugural U.S. season from the Port of Bayonne on October 26, offering guests the chance to experience beauty and wonder at sea like never before,” states Celebrity Cruises.

Today Celebrity Cruises celebrates its highly anticipated return to Australian and New Zealand.

On Saturday, Celebrity Eclipse will set sail from Sydney Australia on a 12-night itinerary. This itinerary will allow guests to explore the “ruggedly scenic wilderness of New Zealand”. This first voyage will one of 17 to come for Celebrity Cruises, and specifically the ship Celebrity Eclipse, in the region.

These itineraries will start in Sydney Australia and end in Auckland, and will be conducted from now until April 2023 for the season.

Celebrity Cruises celebrated this past weekend with the conclusion of its ship Celebrity Summit's first full season homeporting in the U.S. town of Boston, Massachusetts. The notable celebration was hosted by Celebrity Cruises President and Chief Executive Officer, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

The Celebrity Ascent cruise ship is one step closer to being built.

At the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard, Celebrity Cruises celebrated a milestone on Wednesday as it welded a ceremonial coin to a massive steel docking block forming the ship’s keel, officially marking the beginning of construction on the fourth ship in the Edge Class - Celebrity Ascent.
