Celebrity Cruises announces Europe cruises in 2023

Celebrity Cruises announced seven of its cruise ships will sail in Europe in 2023.

The new European deployment was announced on Tuesday, with brand-new four to 13-night itineraries added, plus more ‘seven-night’ sailings than ever before.

Celebrity is also touting the fact it is offering more than 45 overnight stays in 11 different cities across the various itineraries released.

Celebrity Cruises announces 2023 Alaska cruises

Celebrity Cruises has released its list of Alaska cruises for 2023.

Three Celebrity Cruises cruise ships will be deployed to Alaska in 2023, with the first sailing beginning May 3, 2022.

Celebrity's cruise season in Alaska runs between May and mid-September, and includes the Inside Passage on every itinerary.

Celebrity Cruises cancels cruises on three ships

Celebrity Cruises announced a new round of cruise cancellations on Tuesday.

Travel agents were informed of the alterations to the cruise line's  2021 and 2022 sailings on various ships.

There are three ships with new cancellations, as well as some itinerary modifications.

Celebrity Cruises cancels select European and Australian cruises

Celebrity has restarted cruises in the United States, but there are still more cancellations happening.

Two Celebrity ships scheduled to sail this year have had select sailings cancelled, according to the cruise line.

Celebrity informed travel agents on Wednesday of the changes.

Celebrity's mega-yacht restarts cruises

Celebrity Cruises announced its mega yacht, Celebrity Flora, has resumed service after 15 months of no sailings.

First cruise ship sails from United States in more than 15 months

Cruise ships are officially sailing again from the United States.

After 15 months, Celebrity Edge departed Port Everglades on Saturday, after receiving approval by the CDC to be the first ship back in the water, having met all new standards for providing a healthy and safe cruise experience for its guests and crew.

Edge’s seven night cruise will sail for three days in the Western Caribbean waters before making stops in Costa Maya, Cozumel and Nassau. 

Celebrity removes Covid vaccination requirement for Florida cruises

Not vaccinated? Not a problem if you want to sail on Celebrity Edge and Equinox out of Florida in 2021. Thanks to the State of Florida winning a court case against the CDC’s Conditional Sail Order, the agency can no longer require cruise ships departing from Florida to mandate vaccinations for guests, and Celebrity has changed its protocols accordingly. 

New Celebrity Cruises ship sails for the first time

At long last, Celebrity Apex has had her maiden voyage.

The newest cruise ship in Celebrity Cruises' fleet pulled out of the Port of Athens today, to begin her maiden voyage and first summer season in the Aegean.

Apex was originally scheduled to sail in March 2020, but delays from the global health crisis required delays until now.

Celebrity Cruises hires fashion executive for its Chief Marketing Officer

Celebrity Cruises announced it has hired a new Chief Marketing Officer, who's background comes from Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch and more.

Michael Scheiner will step in as the new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Celebrity.

Reporting to President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Scheiner will join Celebrity on July 12, and will oversee all aspects of driving new customer acquisition, brand loyalty and e-commerce globally.
