Carnival releases first Sky Zone at sea details and prices

Carnival Cruise Line announced  first-ever Sky Zone trampoline park at sea aboard Carnival Panorama, debuting this December in Long Beach.

Guests will find the new facility on decks 6 and 7, which covers more than 3,000 square feet across a 12-lane trampoline court.

Sky Zone will be open all day on sea days with late afternoon and evening sessions on port days. One-hour sessions will be held throughout the cruise and available for three different age groups – 6 months to 5 years; 6-14; and 15 and older.

Carnival and Royal Caribbean will build new cruise terminal in St. Lucia

Carnival Corporation & plc and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. announced today the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the government of Saint Lucia to form a joint venture to manage the existing cruise pier and terminal facilities in Saint Lucia, and to design, construct and operate a new cruise port on the island.

A woman on a Royal Caribbean cruise climbed on top of her balcony stateroom railing to take a photo, when another guest captured the dangerous action from their room.

The unknown woman posed in her bathing suit while on the balcony of her Allure of the Seas cruise. Passenger Peter Blosic was the one who took the photo when he noticed what she was doing.

He wrote: "Just witnessed this on Allure. What an absolute IDIOT. You cannot fall off of a ship unless you are acting like a moron!"

Norwegian Cruise Line's Priority Access

After testing an extra-cost Priority Access program, Norwegian Cruise Line has expanded it to all ships in its fleet. No matter what vessel you are sailing on, you are now able to take advantage of the benefits that come along

Royal Caribbean to transfer Grandeur of the Seas to Pullmantur Cruises in 2021

Grandeur of the Seas, one of Royal Caribbean International's Vision Class ships, will transfer to Pullmantur Cruises in April 2021.

Before starting to cruise with Pullmantur Cruises, Grandeur of the Seas will undergo a revitalization process called 'Pullmanturizing', that will renovate the facilities and designs as well as a change of its name in line with the positioning of Pullmantur Cruises.

In its first season (summer 2021), Grandeur will sail through the North European Seas and these sailings will go on sale early next year.

Sky Princess joins Princess Cruises fleet

Princess Cruises took delivery of Sky Princess from shipbuilder Fincantieri at an official handover ceremony at the shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.

The first ship designed from the ground up as a Princess MedallionClass ship, the 143,700-ton, 3,660-guest Sky Princess features an evolution of the design platform used for the cruise line's previous Royal-Class ships.

Royal Caribbean announces new private island, Perfect Day at Lelepa

Royal Caribbean International announced its newest private island will be in the South Pacific, Perfect Day at Lelepa, Vanuatu.

During a ceremony featuring Vanuatu’s Prime Minister Charlot Salwai and Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley, they revealed the destination would be created in partnership with the community of Vanuatu to showcase its natural beauty, highlight local culture, provide employment opportunities and educate residents on the islands.

Carnival Cruise Line Signs Three-Year Extension with Mobile, Alabama

Carnival Cruise Line and the City of Mobile signed a three-year extension at a press conference held aboard the Carnival Fantasy. That ship will continue sailing from Mobile through November 2022

With the agreement, Carnival Fantasy will continue its popular four- and five-day cruises to Mexico from the Alabama Cruise Terminal, bringing 170,000 guests to Mobile annually.
