Video captures scary moment passenger gets stuck on Norwegian water slide

A viral TikTok captured the scary moment that a cruise passenger got stuck in a water slide aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.

@kaylamierzejewski posted the video on September 19, 2025. Since then, it's gotten over 6.9 million views and 238,000 likes.

The short 13-second clip shows an unidentified guest attempting to scoot her way through the clear water slide. Even scarier? She got stuck on the portion that hangs over the ocean!

Cruise line gives refunds for broken toilets and air conditioning in staterooms

Guests sailing aboard a Princess Cruise ship are receiving partial refunds of their cruise fare because of issues with the air conditioning and toilets in their staterooms.

Grand Princess departed on a 16-day Panama Canal cruise on September 15, 2025. She is expected to arrive in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Oct. 1. 

Although there are no changes to the itinerary, Princess Cruises acknowledged the warmer-than-usual temperatures in some cabins and offered compensation.

7 things I loved and hated about my first Norwegian cruise

After sailing on 7 different cruise lines, Elizabeth decided it was time to give Norwegian a try. 

She booked a 4-night cruise on Norwegian Aqua, the line's newest ship, out of New York City, to see what makes NCL a tried-and-true favorite for so many cruisers. 

Generally speaking, there wasn't too much to complain about. However, there were a few things that she didn't love about Norwegian Aqua, including the poor crowd management.

Cruise passengers are using their bras in a "disgusting" new trend (where not to keep your cruise card)

Most people keep their cruise cards in a lanyard that conveniently hangs around their neck. Some, however, are getting creative and keeping their cruise cards tucked into their bras, drawing criticism from fellow passengers. 

A recent Reddit post from a guest sailing aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship complaining about the "disgusting" new trend went viral. 

The post quickly gained traction, drawing over 300 comments from fellow cruisers, though many thought the original poster was overreacting.

Top 5 Largest Carnival Ships: Why Size Matters

Carnival Cruise Line doesn't have the biggest cruise ships in the world, but it has built a reputation for offering a wide variety of activities and entertainment for guests of all ages. 

Although all of Carnival's ships feature signature experiences, such as activities hosted by the FUN Squad and original production shows starring the Playlist Live cast, the newer, larger vessels stand out — and in a bold way. 

Until the new "Project Ace" ships begin launching in 2029, Carnival's Excel Class ships are the biggest in the fleet.

Margaritaville at Sea’s biggest ship to debut in the world's busiest cruise port

The homeport for Margaritaville at Sea's newest cruise ship was a mystery — until now. 

The new flagship vessel, Beachcomber, will join the other two Margaritaville ships in Florida, sailing year-round from Miami, Florida, debunking rumors that she'd offer cruises from Galveston, Texas. 

Beachcomber will offer 4- to 8-night itineraries to the Eastern and Southern Caribbean from South Florida, starting in 2027.
