The Disney Wonder, which had its maiden voyage in 1999, is the second ship from the Disney Cruise Line. It is also one of the two smaller ships (along with the Disney Magic), but still offers fun activities and amenities that are perfect for families. Disney's newest cruise ship passes first sailing test

The Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship, has passed its first sailing test after it officially departed from the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Germany, on March 31st.

After almost two years of construction, the Disney Wish sailed from Germany to Eemshaven Netherlands to complete its final series of sailing tests. This journey from the shipyard in Germany, to the Netherlands is known as Ems Conveyance.

Disney Cruise Line announced a series of new health rules for its cruise ships, including bringing back self-service buffets.

As of April 1, Disney Cruise line relaxed a number of health protocols that were changed as a result of Covid-19, originating from a U.S. port of departure.

Among the changes are guests being able to serve themselves at the ship's buffets.

The first of Disney Cruise Line’s larger ships, the Disney Dream, had its maiden voyage in 2011. This beautiful cruise ship, the sister ship to the Disney Fantasy, offers 1,250 staterooms and can accommodate 4,000 passengers on 14 passenger decks.

The Disney Dream currently runs 3,4, and 5-day Bahamian itineraries, out of Florida’s Port Canaveral. When the Disney Wish comes into service this summer, the Disney Dream will move to a new homeport of Miami and will offer both Bahamian and Western Caribbean itineraries.
