Starting on May 9th 2022, at 8:00 am ET, guests will be able to book summer 2023 sailings with Disney Cruise Line.

May 9th is the date that the available summer 2023 sailings will be viewable, and bookable by the general public. While passengers who fall under the Castaway Club member program and other select guests, will be able to make bookings for the 2023 summer season as early as May 2nd 2022.

Disney Magic is Disney Cruise Line's very first ship that launched in 1998. While she is one of the cruise line's smaller vessels, she offers some fantastic itineraries ranging from those visiting the Bahamas and Caribbean to Mexico and even the Panama Canal!

The ship was refurbished in 2013 and 2018. With these intensive updates, the ship was given new additions, such as the AquaDunk water slide and Rapunzel’s Royal Table restaurant.

The Disney Wonder, which had its maiden voyage in 1999, is the second ship from the Disney Cruise Line. It is also one of the two smaller ships (along with the Disney Magic), but still offers fun activities and amenities that are perfect for families. As a smaller ship, it is more manageable and can feel more intimate and comfortable.

If you are a Disney fan who loves cruising, you’ll probably want to consider sailing on the Disney Cruise Line. But, if you are going without kids, you may worry about kids running around the ship, or might think that there wouldn’t be enough adult-focused activities to keep you occupied.

The Disney Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship, has passed its first sailing test after it officially departed from the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Germany, on March 31st.

After almost two years of construction, the Disney Wish sailed from Germany to Eemshaven Netherlands to complete its final series of sailing tests. This journey from the shipyard in Germany, to the Netherlands is known as Ems Conveyance.

Disney Cruise Line announced a series of new health rules for its cruise ships, including bringing back self-service buffets.

As of April 1, Disney Cruise line relaxed a number of health protocols that were changed as a result of Covid-19, originating from a U.S. port of departure.

Among the changes are guests being able to serve themselves at the ship's buffets.

The first of Disney Cruise Line’s larger ships, the Disney Dream, had its maiden voyage in 2011. This beautiful cruise ship, the sister ship to the Disney Fantasy, offers 1,250 staterooms and can accommodate 4,000 passengers on 14 passenger decks.

The Disney Dream currently runs 3,4, and 5-day Bahamian itineraries, out of Florida’s Port Canaveral. When the Disney Wish comes into service this summer, the Disney Dream will move to a new homeport of Miami and will offer both Bahamian and Western Caribbean itineraries.

The Disney Wish began her conveyance to the North Sea on Wednesday, signifying a major step closer to joining the fleet to the delight of cruise fans.

The ship began her slow journey down the Ems River in Germany, and Disney shared new photos of the ship's progress.=
