There's nothing more exciting in the cruise world than a new cruise ship.

Norwegian Cruise Line is riding the waves of its recent success after launching two Prima Class ships. As of mid-2024, NCL has eight ships on order, four of which will be part of their largest class of ships ever! 

Here's a breakdown of everything new and exciting coming to Norwegian's fleet over the next decade!

It seems like cruise culture is divided into two very different groups: people who love Carnival and people who love to hate on Carnival.

Those who love to cruise on Carnival are passionately loyal to the brand for its fun, energetic atmosphere and overall laidback style of cruising.

Celebrity’s newest ship, Celebrity Beyond, made its much-anticipated arrival to North America last week - and its been hyped as the best ship in the cruise line's fleet.

Celebrity has set the bar high with its newest ship; just by the ship’s name alone, it sets the tone that Beyond will be a cut above the rest.

Celebrity Cruises has always been a popular cruise line, but they just broke one of their own records.

Celebrity had its single largest booking day ever on Black Friday, followed by its strongest Cyber Monday in history.

"All of the recent exposure highlighting Celebrity’s innovative ship design and onboard offerings built incredible demand from consumers longing to experience the world in new ways and through a new level of relaxed luxury," said Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

Cruise lines continue to one-up each other by adding revolutionary concepts to their newest ships. From ice skating rinks to go-karting and skydiving, it’s becoming hard to find things on land that you can’t do at sea!

Yet, I never imagined someday I would be able to ride a roller coaster at sea. 

Cruise ships have certainly come a long way within the last decade in regards to how many onboard activities, amenities and thrills they can squeeze on each deck. 

I’ll be transparent here - losing my luggage while traveling is probably one of my biggest fears; it causes me more stress than I’d like to admit. I know I am not the only one who has heard horror stories about airlines and cruise lines mishandling luggage, only to get swept away in an abyss of lost suitcases.

To avoid this, I mostly travel with a carry-on whenever possible. This usually eliminates the possibility of an airline or cruise line losing my suitcase; however, this isn’t always possible depending on where I am traveling and how long I will be gone for.

Everyone sing it with me, "Celebrate good times, come on!". That's been a popular song choice here onboard Carnival's brand-new, stylish Celebration cruise ship - and for good reason. 

Carnival Celebration is the newest ship in the Excel-class, preceded by the Carnival Mardi Gras, which was launched last year. These new ships are nearly 40% bigger than anything Carnival Cruise Line has built before. 

I'd also argue Carnival Celebration is one of the most stylish cruise ships that Carnival has ever debuted.
