One of the biggest cruise lines in the industry is Norwegian Cruise Line. With sailings around the world, you are sure to have an amazing experience onboard Norwegian’s cruise ships while visiting gorgeous and often exotic destinations. 

Off the southern coast of Belize lies Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) private island retreat. It's part of The Norwegian Edge initiative, which was designed to bring higher standards to the high seas. 

Surrounded by the lush greenery of Central America, guests are treated to a wide range of activities on the 75 acre oasis. The island was developed in partnership with the Belizean government, and local inhabitants own the businesses and work onsite, contributing to the local economy.

Debuting in the summer of 2022, Prima is the first in the new class of ships from Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). Prima means first in Italian, an apt name for the inaugural ship made in Venice, a region steeped in maritime glory.

For this new series, Norwegian did not go bigger but decided to reinvent the ship from the ground up, focusing on innovative design, upgraded amenities, and the latest technology, all with the cruiser in mind.

Norwegian Cruise Line will offer several sailings to Alaska in 2022. From April to October, five ships will sail on itineraries spanning 5 to 16 days departing from popular west coast ports.

2022 brings some unique Alaskan itineraries that include Japan, Russia, and Hawaii.

NCL announced on Wednesday it will keep its Covid-19 vaccine requirements in place for the foreseeable future.

While the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will allow its stringent cruise protocols that are part of the Conditional Sailing Order (CSO) to expire in January, NCL will not let go of its requirement all guests be vaccinated.

If you want to sail on Norwegian Cruise Line this year, you will need to be fully vaccinated.

Norwegian Cruise Line extended its mandatory vaccination protocols required for all guests and crew for all sailings through Dec. 31, 2021.

Guests must be fully vaccinated, at least 2 weeks prior to departure, in order to board.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Ltd. has won the first battle in its fight against the state of Florida over Covid-19 vaccine requirements for cruise passengers. 

A United States district judge has granted the parent company of Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas an injunction, meaning that the cruise lines can require that cruisers show proof of Covid vaccination in order to board their cruise ship, even when sailing from Florida.

Located in The Bahamas is Norwegian Cruise Line's private island: Great Stirrup Cay. In order to visit this idyllic beach getaway, you have to sail onboard a Norwegian ship, meaning that you won't see Great Stirrup Cay on any Royal Caribbean, Carnival, or MSC itinerary. 

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) has sued the State of Florida over the state’s law preventing businesses from requiring customers to show proof of vaccination in order to receive services. 

The parent company for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises is determined to set sail with fully vaccinated passengers, but it currently cannot do so from Florida homeports without risking “crushing penalties of up to $5,000 per passenger.”
