Before splurging on a suite, however, you may be curious as to what perks accompany the high price tag of staying in The Retreat. Though many benefits are standard regardless of which suite you book, some have premium perks—including complimentary specialty dining and exclusive sleepwear.

Fleetwide suite perks
Priority check-in and disembarkation
Want to start your cruise off on a high note with priority check-in? Guests staying in The Retreat can avoid the long lines at the terminal and enjoy a streamlined boarding process, regardless of your embarkation port. After breezing through the check-in process, you can rest assured knowing your luggage will be at your cabin in no time thanks to priority delivery.
Though nobody wants their cruise vacation to come to an end, you can take advantage of priority disembarkation, too. There are a few advantages to getting off the ship early, including a shorter wait for a taxi to the airport, fewer cars leaving the parking garage, and the potential for easier security screening at the airport before hoards of other passengers arrive.
Plus, if your cruise has tender ports, Retreat guests get priority tender boarding, so you won't have to wait in line for a water taxi.
Luminae
Luminae is the suite-only dining room available to guests staying in The Retreat. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, passengers will enjoy an elevated menu designed by renowned Chef Daniel Boulud. Boulud was also the mastermind behind Le Voyage, the upscale specialty restaurant found on Celebrity Beyond and Ascent.
Luminae features an exclusive menu that cannot be found in any other restaurant onboard, with dishes like creamy lobster rolls during lunch and slow-roasted radicchio during dinner. All dishes are crafted with high-quality ingredients to provide suite guests an upscale and elevated dining experience compared to the complimentary dining rooms onboard.
Note that Luminae is not an adults-only restaurant. Children who are guests of The Retreat are welcome to dine in the suite-only restaurant, as well as friends and family of guests staying within The Retreat—albeit for an additional fee.
Moreover, Luminae and Blu are not the same. To dine at Blu, you must book an AquaClass Sky Suite (or a standard AquaClass cabin).

Suite-only lounge
Most commonly called "The Retreat Lounge," this suite-only space is perfect for guests looking to unwind away from the hustle and bustle and is open 24/7.
Here, you'll find drinks, snacks, and the concierge desk, where the dedicated staff can assist with reservations, personalized recommendations for days ashore, and other special requests. You can access the concierge's services before setting sail by calling 1-877-RETREAT.
The lounge is called Michael's Club on Celebrity Reflection, Eclipse, and Solstice.
The Retreat Sundeck
Passengers looking to soak up the sun away from the busy pool deck can enjoy the low-key suite-only sundeck. In addition to an exclusive vibe, you'll find upgraded sun loungers and Retreat Attendants who will bring you towels, drinks, and snacks.
On Edge Class ships (i.e., Celebrity Edge, Apex, Beyond, and Ascent), there's a private pool located within The Retreat Sundeck. On older ships, you'll find relaxing hot tubs.
Note The Retreat Sundeck is not available on Celebrity Solstice, Eclipse, Reflection, Constellation, Infinity.
Premium All Included
Fancy a handcrafted martini before dinner? With the Premium Drinks Package, you won't have to worry about ordering basic cocktails or sticking with cheaper glasses of wine. Instead, all beverages up to $17 are included. You'll also get a 20% discount on bottles of wine.
Additionally, guests within The Retreat will receive Premium Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected with your family and friends back home via video call. You can also share photos and videos on social media and stream content as much as you want!
Typically, when passengers book Celebrity's All Included fare, the Premium packages are an extra charge. Staying in The Retreat, however, ensures these premium benefits are included in the cost of your cruise.

Welcome bottle of bubbles
If an unlimited drink package isn't enough, you can enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival to your luxurious suite.
Plus, you'll have a complimentary mini-bar stocked with soda and beer. Each day, you'll receive new bottles of water, too. If you're in a Royal Suite or above, your mini-bar will be restocked with water, soda, and beer daily.
Use of Umbrella & Binoculars
While onboard, guests in The Retreat can use complimentary binoculars and umbrellas. While the latter hopefully isn't needed, the binoculars can be useful on scenic cruises to Alaska, Norway, and beyond.

Reserved theater seating on Evening Chic night
On formal night, cruise passengers like to sport their best attire and head out for a "night on the town."
As such, it's usually one of the busiest nights onboard, with families waiting to take photographs together before heading to dinner and then enjoying the evening entertainment.
Guests of The Retreat don't have to worry about claiming seats 30 minutes ahead of showtime. Instead, they can take advantage of the reserved seating and stroll in at their leisure.
Premium bath and body products
Compared to the shampoo/body wash hybrid found on sister line Royal Caribbean, Celebrity's standard bathroom products are an upgrade. Still, those looking for an extra touch of luxury will find even higher-end options in The Retreat suites.
Even your bath towels will be more luxurious, as all cabins within The Retreat have premium 100% cotton bath towels and bathrobes.
Additionally, you'll sleep well on Celebrity's king-sized Cashmere Mattress with exclusive bedding.
In-suite dining
There's nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy a relaxing breakfast in your cabin, or perhaps you've had a long day ashore and would like to have dinner on your private verandah to rest up for an exciting night ahead.

Benefits available to those in Royal Suites and above
Guests in some of the cruise line's most expensive suites have a few more exclusive perks to enhance their experience.
Perhaps the two most worthwhile benefits are the unlimited specialty dining package and the complimentary "Extend Your Stay" package, which allows you to stay onboard until mid-afternoon, enjoying lunch at Luminae before departing. Note that it's only available in select ports of call, though.
However, you'll also receive exclusive complimentary sleepwear, access to the SEA Thermal Suite or Persian Garden, two complimentary bottles of premium spirits or wine, complimentary laundry and pressing service, and a premium in-suite coffee set-up.
Suite perks on Celebrity's Xpedition ships
Celebrity Flora, the newest Xpedition ship, is an all-suite vessel. Regardless of which cabin you book onboard, you'll receive a refillable water bottle, stocked mini-bar, daily treats, personal suite attendants, arrival champagne or sparkling wine, complimentary backpack and poncho, premium linens and bathrobes, laundry services twice per voyage, and a full in-suite dinner service.
Though the list of suite perks is not as extensive as Celebrity's standard fleet, Xpedition cruises are more inclusive than those on their mainstream ships. From alcohol to Wi-Fi, pre- and post-cruise transfers, shore excursions, and more, you won't have to worry about bundling your fare or spending hundreds of dollars on add-ons.
The other two Xpedition ships—Celebrity Xpedition and Celebrity Xploration—will be sold in early 2025.
