Have you wondered how you can use the internet while onboard a Norwegian Cruise Line sailing? 

Nearly every cruise line offers onboard wifi to its guests. However, while nearly every cruise vessel has wifi available, most cruise lines have very different wifi policies and packages. Not every cruise line is the same when it comes to wifi and internet access. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) in my experience, offers great wifi connectivity on its ships.

I just went on the Norwegian Getaway for the first time and wanted to share the things I loved the most about this cruise ship.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has many aspects that guests love. Some of those things may be the freestyle mentality the brand embodies, the Broadway entertainment, or the general atmosphere onboard. The Norwegian Getaway ship is no different! This vessel has many features and amenities that guests are sure to love onboard.

The Norwegian Getaway is one of two ships in Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Class.

The Getaway was originally constructed in 2014, but recently underwent a refurbishment in 2020. The ship measures 145,655 gross register tonnage, and is capable of accommodating up to 3,963 guests at double occupancy.

The Getaway is also able to house up to 1,646 crew members, and measures 1,068.3 feet in overall length.

Now that its been about two weeks since I retuned from my first sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line, I’ve been thinking a lot about my experience. There are some things that I think we did just right, while other things I wish we had done differently on our cruise.

For the ultimate luxurious experience aboard Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) vessels prospective passengers should consider booking accommodations in Norwegian exclusive, The Haven.

NCL advertises The Haven as an exclusive enclave "that has a number of white glove amenities along with 24-hour butler service and personal service of a concierge."

The latest and greatest big cruise ship hit the water in the last week of August when Norwegian Prima made its much-anticipated debut. This 20-deck-high, 3,100-passenger ship is the first of six planned for Norwegian Cruise Line in its new Prima Class of vessels.

I sit writing this next installment of the live blog at the Sunset Bar, it is relatively late at night, around midnight. There are a few passengers still wandering about the ship, but its pretty quiet, and this spot makes for a comfy spot to document our first full day at sea, and our third day aboard Norwegian Getaway.
