While Celebrity doesn't operate the largest cruise ships at sea, you'll find an impressive number of restaurants, bars, cabin categories, and amenities compared to their older ships.
Whether you're seeking a ship that offers the best of what the line has to offer or an intimate experience that's more focused on the destinations, you're sure to find the perfect ship for your next Celebrity cruise.
Essentially, Celebrity operates in two different markets. The first is your traditional, mainstream line with sizeable vessels that operate around the globe. The second is comprised of three small Xpedition ships that sail exclusively to the Galapagos Islands. With the largest holding just 100 guests, these ships offer an unparalleled experience that highlights both intimacy and exploration.
Here's a breakdown of all Celebrity ships from biggest to smallest measured by gross registered tonnage (GRT).
Celebrity Ascent
Celebrity's newest ship at sea, Celebrity Ascent, entered service in November 2023. Her inaugural season consists of voyages to the Caribbean, as well as Europe beginning in April 2024.
Though part of the award-winning Edge Class, Celebrity Ascent features brand-new and enhanced experiences, including a redesigned art gallery, expanded Martini Bar menu, and exclusive menu at Le Petit Chef.

The infamous Sunset Bar is also larger, giving guests more space to enjoy a handcrafted beverage while admiring the passing views. Passengers who book a lavish suite within The Retreat will enjoy a private sun deck that's approximately 40% larger than the version on Edge or Apex.
